Must have already hit target that day so give you a break. You get fine for the window tint and that's it or you have to go for inspection later? If inspection later, than maybe more trouble to come as they may go for your Larini and plates later.

Was told that it can be compounded for 70 bucks and that's it . Hopefully that is true .

He did not issue me any summons on the spot , just wrote down my details on his note book and took photo on the reading of the device that checks the tint .

Maybe like what some said before , now is good time to leave these cars in the workshop for servicing or polishing and bring out the daily drivers until all cools off .

Good advice. Mine is a permanent resident at the workshop anyway. It's either my car porch or the workshop. I'm safe, I think.

Wait. They might be reading this forum as we speak. Hush now.....

we all know the 3 leading causes of serious accidents- tinted windows, loud exhausts and of course non-std licence plates so what do u expect?

Yes. They should just ban the import of all performance parts. That'd kill the motor industry but at least keep our streets safe right?

The authorities know very well that most high performance cars have tinted windscreen which are beyond the legal limits and lots of cars, more so Jap performance cars have after market exhaust. So suddenly they decide it's time to enforce this. Typical knee jerk reaction, guess old habits hard to change.

Damn how do you know I'm looking at the E-type lightweight!? :p

Seriously, which one would you guys choose? The above Jag or a Rosso Scuderia Stradale? The Jag is a custom rebuild based on regular roadster but to lightweight specs & will be on classic plate here while the Stradale is of course norm plate but expiring soon till Coe renewal. Both are of course "weekend warriors" & the Jag would be more politically friendly now :D

You got multiple choices! Not too shabby :)

Seriously bro, really unlucky on that, let's hope it's just $70 bucks & don't need inspection which will be a PITA.

    Lol
