U guys serious? Thought most of you would prefer something modern. Unfortunately, finding the right E type is proving more difficult than dating a model :p

That is why it's no contest. I am surprise you are comparing the E type to the Ferrari.:D Have the impression from your previous post that you have already found the E type.

Went to see the red Stadale the other day oooh when you fire it up, it sends shiver down your spine..... Unfortunately, viewing the E-types are via iPad & discussed over emails. There are easily a hundred of them for sale @ any one time yet price varies from a paltry £12k to mind boggling £150k for a concours restored unit. The genuine lightweights are over one million USD  only for the very deep pockets & actually rarer than 250GTOs.

There's over 70k E types built & less than 2000 Stradale, much lesser surviving RHDs.

    Sigh. The search continues.

For me, it's not a valid comparison. Never drive a E Type (of course!), but it all depends. Chilling weekend ride, or another hardcore machine.

If i may suggest, buy a 12K car, import to Spore, pay taxes, send it back and have a concours quality restoration.:D No point give our govt more pocket money:D

My wife attending Le mans classic in July. Heard the first race on July 6 will feature 23 ferrari 250 GTO. Apparently only 38 were built between 1962-1964. That must be one big orgasm for the classic car lover.:D Jon you should be there.

    +1.

The CS may be getting rarer but the E-Type is still one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I believe they were hoping to have all the surviving GTO's at the event to celebrate their 50th anniversary .. but 23 is a good result. Does anyone know how many exist today out of the original 39 built.

Dunno but Wasn't it stated somewhere earlier that most recent was done at USD35mio so market has strengthened on these again after a slight dip a few years back.
