They are hard cars to find in a good state, too, as is the case with most M cars of a certain vintage. Still, I think it is a phenomenal car, and even at higher prices, still a great investment in every sense if the word. That guy from Evo magazine, whose name I now forgot, just made a youtube video about his which is well worth a look. It's on that channel called Drive.

Split the difference and go E34. I love mine.

I picked this up a couple months ago as my new daily driver. It's a '98 M3 and had just 49k miles on it when I bought it, almost 52k now. Stack of maintenance records in near-pristine condition, and I love it. New exhaust is going on this week but otherwise it's staying very near stock.

I've had an E28 and E34 too, but this M3 is a wonderful driver. I may keep it a long time.

The E34 is a spectacular car, but the one on my wishlist would be the Wagon. Now that is a monster car....

Indeed, the E34 looks so right. Very masculine. Both the M5 and the B10 Biturbo are just amazing with a lot of presence in real life.

Do they use yellow headlights in Norway, or are those French market lights?

Some cars came with yellow headlights in the 80's (more the exception than the rule). Today it's more of a styling/aftermarket thing, like when guys with E36 BMW's put on orange blinkers on dark colored cars, gives the cars a certain old school look. Not all of the 80's Alpinas I saw had them.

    Its not a V12, a V8, the 760 is a V12 which would be nice but the 8 is plenty :D

I know France required yellow headlights for many years.

Had a TechnoViolet '98 M3 for a few weeks (sold for more than twice what I had into it). I would love to get another one. Currently looking for an Imola Red or LeMans Blue E53 X5.

    I miss my BMW 330ci ZHP. :(

I found her in 2007 with 32k miles.....and even with my ridiculously high standards, couldn't find one thing on her that showed she was used. There were no creases in the leather.....the car still smelled new......lucky.

But I bought my 355 and then she only got 1800 miles put on her in 8 months....and I knew it was time for her to go...:( (I drive 30k miles/year for work so my DD was a 2007 Honda Civic)

This was the best looking non-M car BMW ever made.....

    A tribute......

^ I'm also fan of those facelift E46 coupés. Very handsome. I don't like silver cars, but that's the perfect color for it.

Any of you bmw fellas live in or around Vancouver? I'm always looking to meet new people/owners/car enthusiasts and go for some drives on the weekend. The car scene here is somewhat weak and there is only a limited number of drives the bmw club does :(

Edit: I guess I may have a little better luck posting this in the Canada section...oh wells.

Congrats man, it's my favorite BMW red!

My E30 Touring was the same colour.
