I just brought my '91 MondialT out of storage, and now feel like I have to be
an olympic body builder to push the brake pedal down. The car stops ok, but
the presure required is A LOT! I checked all four corners and everythink looked ok.
The fluid level in the master is good with no leaks. I'm thinking taht maybe the
booster has gone south. Any idea on how to test it would be helpful.

    Thanks,

I know on the 3.2 there is a vaccum check valve right by the engine that comes off the intake manifold. The line then runs all the way to the front to the booster. If that valve is stuck we get a similar issue. If your car has the same bit that might be a first place to check. I took mine off the car cleaned it and it works much better. Initially mine still mostly worked but did the hard brakes sometimes when I first fired it up after sitting. After cleaning it, no problems.

    Hi,
I looked at the parts list and I'm quessing that I need accumulator kit part # 700000504.
Is that the part that you feel might need replacement? Any thoughts on where to get it,
or is not a diy type project?
    Thanks,
    Russlasvegas
