Accident damage repaired in Switzerland

Still Dino shopping and found a Swiss delivered 1971 GT that needs a few 'minor' corrections (prancing horse and Ferrari script removal from the trunk, recover dash in mousehair not leather). So being the good Boyscout and wise in the use of all resources, I looked up the chassis number in the Dino Registry. It turns out that the car sustained front end damage back in '72' while still in the possession of the original owner.

Having worked with a couple of Swiss Technicians over the years and seeing their "attention to detail", I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the quality of Swiss bodywork?

Is their a re-certification or inspection process after accident damage has been repaired in Switzerland?

I am sure that a number of Ferrari's of all lines have been involved in collisions at one time and repaired (including my 250 GTE) but if done properly does it really matter?

I am more concerned about wearing out the Daytona seat covers so I can put them back to original.

 

Make sure that a M series nose was put on the car. It was very common for E series noses to be fitted as they were the replacement part at the time. The Swiss may have done a good installation job but they may have started with the wrong part.
