Cool shots. Glad I didn't fly all the way down to have Rubens not even start. Two other cars with engine problems including Hunter Reay...

Nice photos! Obviously the sort of access one can no longer get to an F1 garage.

Congrats to Justin Wilson and Dale Coyne! I think that in their honor I'll have lunch today at Sonny's BBQ.....

Here was my "weak" vantage point (compared to those other awesome shots). I really enjoyed the race - except for the 2 non-starters, it was very competitive. 30 laps for the first car to be 1 lap down...for TMS I think that's really good.

I think that pretty much testifies that they succeeded in turning a mile-and-a-half oval into a "drivers' race". ;)

Poor Simona: Switzerland bans racing, she comes over to where she's looked on as a "girl driver", and then gets stuck with that going-thru-the-motions Lotus labeled pig of an engine.
    And it doesn't even start.
(And when it does, it gets black flagged for being too slow. :()

Given how competitive women were in rallye, back in the '70s, it strikes me odd that Indycar still has so little female participation.

Very cool pics. Is it possible to get a Dropbox folder of the photos? I love that sunset one too, that's a Windows background for sure!

It was to get Rubens attention but we didn't know he didn't make it to the grid. Here's a shot from follow FChatters INDYPITS & WDR328. Thanks for the photo!

Sixth photo down in the white racing suit waiting to get into the dual seat IZOD car. Knew him by his kinky gray hair........
