I used to have a yellow/cuoio 355 die-cast model......that was my dream car......but I couldn't find one when I bought my 355.
Can't confirm the serial, but this is definitely the same color combo as John's car (yellowenzo123). He was thinking about buying another one to paint flat black as he realized how unique it was.. Also, Jim's Enzo was the last new example available via a dealer.
Yes. In April/May, 2007, he was toying with the idea of buying 133918. He was going to paint it matte black, and tint the windows red. It's currently up north.
Yep. Just dug through my PM's and found the mockup I did for him. Crazy stuff. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holy ****! They're asking $1.75MM! LOL! That's pretty funny. My database mentioned something about logos, but he never described them to me. I got to hang out with him one night at the Waldorf-Astoria; I believe Walter was there too. John asked what I wanted to drink so, naturally, I said I'd have a Long Island Iced Tea. Twenty minutes later, a tray of Long Island Iced Teas showed up at the room. That dude new how to party. I texted you about a week ago - did you get it? Did you change your number?
I remember there was a black one for sale in the US about half a year ago. Can't remember what it finally sold for.
Here, and yes it was a black car. There are couple Enzo's currently available privately, there is a sub 500 mile car that is available that is a much better "deal" than the yellow car. There is also another perfect black car.
Interesting. I had no idea that that page said that. I'll fix it. I think you are right that one of the guys at the shop saw the plaque and assumed... I have heard that it was #301; but I'd digress to your knowledge. The page is now edited with known data that is true; but I left the page address unchanged http://www.thelingenfeltercollection.com/2003-ferrari-enzo-399/
Doesn't necessarily mean the yellow one will sell for $1.75m though. Agreed that it should command a premium over red, but not that huge of a premium.
that is pretty wild ....makes me think about skiing as a kid, with those first scott rose lens goggles
It's an early US car, the 47th built for the states; and it's within the first 200 Enzos made worldwide, so it's not the 301st. Sunday was exactly nine years since it was delivered new.
did we ever come to a consensus on what qualifies as the "last" Enzo? personally, to me it's that last car actually built (not including factory rebuild of an existing car) .....Carbon, do you know what car that would be?
Well, technically, none of the factory rebuilt cars were "rebuilt" - they're all brand new cars that were assigned a VIN from a car that was destroyed.
