    The Silhouette and the LP400 shared the same colours. I do not have the codes but the silver was called Argento Luna.

    The Urraco S and Espada also shared a silver. Perhaps this is also the same as the colour used on the LP400. This was called Argento with Italver Pittsburgh colour code 2.463.898
    On the Urraco chart there are several colours that were also on the LP400 and Silhouette chart.

    Silver is a very good colour for the LP400. If you'd paint your car in silver: which interior colour would you choose?

    Which is the original colour (exterior/interior) of your LP400?

    2.463.898 is correct for the LP400 Silver. It's the same as Espada,Urraco and other cars of that period.

    There are some wonderful pics in a Swedish magazine when #22 was Silver, lets see if i can find it.

    The car was originally Tahiti Blue/Tan interior.

    Thank you for the information.

    Again: do you have an idea for the interior colour in case of repainting the car silver? Naturale/tan is quite boring for a silver car (IMO), no car originally was built with the lívery argento/naturale.

    I am given to understand that Bruno Paratelli uses the reverse side of alcantara on his Countach restorations as a substitute for mousehair. I used this on 40006 with pleasing results.

    The plan is to get the interior done by Paratelli.
    We saw him him back in 2010 and he was doing a MiuraSV and a 5000s and i found the leather i wanted in his samples.But firming a date has been impossible as the paint and engine have taken longer than expected!!

    When I researched this 12 months ago only black was available. Several colours were used on Lamborghinis and Paratelli did the original Countach interiors so i was happy to go along with his advice.

    You can hardly get better than having the original craftsman redo the interior.

    there are a couple guys in Italy that worcked with Bruno for many years
    they rebuilt many countach interior and i can say they are also great!

    Judging by the pics in Thoroughbred and Classic Cars August 1997 your car has been retrimmed in alcantara. The early cars had a single row of stitching in the centre of the instrument panel surround but later cars had stitching on either side of the surround. Your car has the stitching either side which is another sign of a retrim I think. However I was interested to see that you have the original red toggle switch labels - one of only 4 cars I know of with these. The others were blue.
