There are two different hoods, one with a large vent and one where the hood panel is perforated.

The mule wore 348/355 body panels but that is where the similarities end.

From what we have seen, I think our buddy, Napolis, may have a claim under "copy cat" laws. Many elements of his cars appear to be showing up in the F-70.

Maybe he is just ahead of his time.

Hey, Napolis, what stocks do you like? In a couple of years, they will be all the rage.

I think its too early to be saying copycat let wait till we see the finished product.....
Although to call them a copy cat you would have to say Napolis was a copy cat....
To me its not a case of copycat, both have taken design clues from earth other and made it there own which I think is fantastic
So now lets just wait and see as Ferrari is very good and hiding there final design

Aside from the glass areas, I think this mule will be unrecognizable from the final product. Let's hope so!

    We will see.

From what I have read, Napolis' cars evoke a respect and admiration of cars that are decades old--drawing inspiration and historical reverence into the design of a car.

This is quite difference from a car made about the same time--not separated by time--with out and out copycat styling cues.

But, I am willing to wait and see.

For me looks like only one enormous and camouflaged hole, not two as the Enzo.

9 years without a Ferrari Supercar. This is getting exciting. Can't wait to see the finished product!

^^ Ferrari does have a 'membrane' panel material they developed for F1, used on inthe FXX program ...it'll be intersting if they use it here? the front end venting and fans (ala F50 & enzo) do produce a fair bit of downforce for the front end, at low speeds

    Interesting.
I was referring to the crude perforated camo panel but who knows?

Got curious and started PS'ing. Will be surprised if this car doesn't have a glass roof (a la P 4/5 and the Maser Birdcage). Not easy to photoshop such a thing though.

Get the feeling the rear haunches will also be similar to P 4/5, tapering into a narrow area right behind the front wheels. Unfortunately there is no good way to predict what the front end will look like..

Very Interesting. I wonder if the New Enzo will have a nose inlet like 2012 P 4/5 Competizione M as hinted by oval Como.

I think those photos are of a rolling chassis. The body panels - all of them, even the under-bits - are BS. The front fender doesn't match the wheel whatsoever and MUCH more of the exhaust can be seen from the rear as well as structural bits through the camo. Rolling chassis, a la 918.

It think a lot of it is quite real, especially the front fenders.

I also think the roof and rear window are accurate.

But it's such a guessing game with this stuff.

The accent line on the canopy is straight off P4/5, I'll give it that. ;)

    that's good work :)

under the camo the nose looks even more pointed, can you sharpen that up more? (less bulk between the headlight and wheel edge) ...it is hard to tell what the sides are hiding, but like how you spotted the shoulder line of the side pods travelling back ...it might be possible the rear bodywork around the rear window is sunk down more like the maser birdcage?
what would it look like with those 2 changes?

It crossed my mind, but I don't know that they would be so obvious about it. :)

Thanks for the feedback, guys- need to meditate on this one a bit more. That windshield/roof line is definitely accurate and not Frankensteined from the parts bin.

Good work. I agree they probably won't but I do think they'll narrow the fenders. That alone gave us a lot more VMAX vrs 2011.
