1.Its a fact what Ferry said about the 930 3.0l,his everyday car was a 3.0l for many years. 2.You claimed i said it 3.Mel Nicholls look him up,no normal Journo hack 4.Joe Sackey, has written more quality books on 930s,RS,RSRs then any other author his book are GOD in Porsche terms.LOL and you have never heard of him. 5.Your post #3466,3485,3491,3495. 6.I posted Bobs thoughts and at no time agreed or disagreed with them. The 3.0l car is considered by most Porsche collectors as the car to own over a run of the mill 3.3l car,due to there limited build numbers and the fact that from this car developed the 934 and the 935 race cars. For my mind the interior finish of a 3.0l car is far better then the latter cars. Ian #3464 was comparing a 3.0l car to a 308GTB,your the one whom has bought in far latter Porsche cars into the mix #3495,3485 WHY? I have NO thoughts or cares eitherway which is the quicker car between the 3.0l turbo and the 308GTB,I do however think its a bit rich comparing a 308 to a 3.3l Turbo as you have in various posts. Long before I posted on this forum, your gutter comments along with Phils gutter comments turned this part of the forum into a slanging match which turned many of the forum ,so to say i was the one whom started the gutter comments is incorrect .
1. LOL...wait....you mean someone from Porsche drove the current top of the line car?? I'm amazed!!! 2.I claimed you 'said it'...as in posted it....DUH...which you did. 3. They're all the same. 4. Whom? 5. You still don't comprehend. 6. Yes....I know what you did, because *I* can read! Same reason why someone prefers a Daytona to a 550. That doesn't make a Daytona a better car. Ok..back to school. The story started with me telling a story about how fast my 1986 turbo was on a cold day. Ian said he drove a 930 and it didn't feel all that fast. Bob said the same about a 3.0l compared to his GTB.....the trouble is Ian was talking about a 3.0l, but didn't say so, so since we were talking about my '86 turbo, what was I to think? So of course I told him he was mad because a 3,3 is MUCH faster than a GTB. He later explained he didn't know there was a difference, which cleared it up. Bob confirmed that Porsche's finest wasn't even faster than Ferrari's entry level car at the time. I guess being compared to a GTB in the first place isn't really an insult, but when you consider that the 3.3 suddenly compared to the very fastest of cars in the world, you'd have to say it was a big step from mediocrity to the very very best in the world. I typed this slowly for you.
Fchat these day is like watching Day of Our Lives. watch an episode after Missing 100, they're still at the same party.
930 - 3.0 litre or 3.3 litre? 550 - Ferrari or Porsche? Daytona - Dodge or Ferrari? So confusing, heading to Benalla now.
as always you twist matters to suit yourself or refuse to answer the questions or have a go at my dyslexia via comments on this forum. I suggest you go back and read your comments on this thread again and again if you have trouble the 1st time understanding what you posted. So how would you describe your insane ramblings with Phil? As for owning a Daytona,i could own one anytime i want, but I'm not going to tie up 500k in car when i can earn 16% plus on my money and enjoy it far more then driving a car 4 or 5 times a year on car drives. And yes I would buy a 930 3.0l car if one with no bad stories,ADR and was unmodified came up,sadly few exist in OZ.
I'm not twisting anything, and your dyslexia has nothing to do with it. Playing the pity card now? I don't have to read my posts, because I know what I typed...YOU have to reread it, so that you can comprehend the conversation. Anyway, it's all Ian's fault. My insane ramblings with Phil are, as always, based on fact and backed up with proof. Everyone in the know knows that. Anyone who wonders is a simpleton.
Well you do twist things and then become aggresive on here. Were did i say your insame ramblings with Phil had anything to do with proof,we were talking about gutter comments and were they started on the forum. Not ians fault, its your lack of understanding about what turbo he was talking about, blind fred could see it would be a 3.0l car, only a fool would think a 3.3l car. Not playing the pity card at all, your the one whom enjoys making comments towards it,i shall let my bank account and success in business talk for me.
1. No...I haven't twisted anything, and I'm certainly not being aggressive. I'm just sticking to my guns and not letting you walk over me, like everyone else does. 2. ummm....what?? You asked me about my ramblings....and I made a comment. You have a bad habit of reading too much into things. 3. Ian said he didn't realise there was a difference, so he seemed surprised at my claim that my '86 turbo was a big performer, because he'd driven a 930 and didn't think it was very fast. It wasn't until later that he confirmed that it was only a 3.0 he drove and not a 3.3. Since I was talking about a 3.3, I was puzzled that he said it didn't perform well. I'm sure that makes sense to everyone else who's not trying to prove that they're a big man around town. 4. I never make any comments about your dyslexia. However, that's not what makes you appear so dumb.
thank god, I was having trouble following the script .... I'm enjoying just being a lurker these days
Here you go, Roberta. Seeing it all in one post might help you along a bit. If you still don't understand, please ask more questions. I'm happy to answer, and I have all the time in the world.
need i say more, have a read of the posts and then reflect on your comments. You seem to think i have an interest in which car is faster or better,i could care less all i was doing was commenting on your insane posts about '86 turbos vs '75 cars and 308 GTBs.
