Has anyone installed Race Deck or a similar tile for their garage? I'm thinking about installing this. I think Sears and Lowes sells something similar too.

It looks great for parking but how does it hold up to metal jack stands and other aggressive equipment/activities?

From the pictures shown in the photo gallery; it looks very durable as there are vehicles on lifts. It definitely looks cool… and seems to install easy by snapping together.

I have epoxy but my friend loves this race deck stuff....its very durable.....for an example: he used to have epoxy and when he would pull his 700hp vette in the garage with hot tires it would peel up the epoxy.....switched to race deck and no problems.....he also always has vehicles on jack stands, etc without any issues....and yes, it just snaps together....if you like the look of it its an excellent option.

I put porcelain tiles in my garage. Easy to clean, have used my jack, no problems. Or you can go with that polished cement look that's nice too.

I have used Race Deck Free Flow in my trailer and around a Hot Tub. It looks nice, stays clean, is easily removed when I want to clean under it and is easy to install. The best price I have found aside from odd lots of used decking is here:
    http://www.bigfloors.com/RACEDECK-C5.aspx
    They ship fast and free.

Garage Journal forums have several discussions on the tile vs epoxy vs race deck type installations. You might want to check that out.

I purchased and installed in my warehouse. Would not recommend or use Race Deck ever again. New warehouse has polished concrete floors much, much better in every way.
Everytime vehicle is backed in or pulled out as soon as wheel is turned tiles pop up. Does not clean up well. Difference in color shade with old and new tiles. Initial order direct from Race Deck was delivered and found to be incorrect. "JUNK"

Laid in one of bays 3 years ago. Getting ready to rip it out. Terrible garage floor surface!

Our owners are split between polished concrete which is timeless - wears like - well concrete & poured epoxy which looks great and has been durable - so far. . .

Click on my garage to see the poured epoxy

My epoxy looks as new as the day it was applied 7 years ago. No cleaning, wear or durability issues of any kind.

If you are going to do any welding or heavy grinding go with th epolished concrete or raw concrete with a densifier.

I bought the cheap brand race deck style tiles. They were from www.floorjunkies.com and cost $1.79 per foot. I like them and have not had any issue with tiles getting damaged. The only downside I have noticed is that they bubble up in the sun along the edge of the floor when exposed in the sun. The bubble is about 4" high usually and goes away within about 5 minutes of closing the garage door. You can avoid this by using adhesive along the edge of the floor, but I didn't do that.

    :)
