If you had one last car purchase before meeting your Maker, what would it and why?
Let's put a ceiling of $75K to keep it realistic (can be used, any year and doesn't have to be a Ferrari)

I'd go for the Jag E Type. Just somethin' about that car that hits a nerve with me. I would find one under the $75k ceiling and restore it myself.

Series 1 definitely the one to have and by most accounts the most beautiful car even made - unfortunately they have picked in value - $75K will get you a runner ready for some elbow grease..

A tad late, guys. Advantage of being elderly. I enjoyed my '69 E-Type coupe for two years. Bought it new for $7K. Sold it in '71 to buy the Lusso for $7K. :)

355 and I just bought it. Worrying about death bed regrets did have a bearing on the decision to buy it. I spent too much time in my 20s working hard and saving money, I now have regrets about not having more fun back then. I decide I didn't want to have regrets about my 40s.

I decided that having a Ferrari at 30 is more important than being tied down to owning a house.

    I have no regrets.

Red 355 GTB (if I can fit in it) and the first thing I would do is find a tunnel and go through it repeatedly.

Torn between a C2 Corvette (they really were quite the car for its day), 996GT2 for the sheer terror/fun, or an AM Vanquish.
