It was AMAZING. It's hard to believe someone can make their body DO some of that stuff. Yeah, I had a wicked cold, so I went to bed early, Mary went until 2am on Friday and Saturday night, and she was one of the EARLIEST people to leave.

Man, those guys and girls know how to party. Hard. :) :) :)

Glad some of you guys got out for a cruise. Weather's not looking so great for this weekend... :( Fingers crossed, though - I am the eternal optimist :D

It's okay though, after all you do have a "rainy day car". :) :) :)

Here are a couple more pixs, lighting is not the best and those are not my wheels, proper wheels are painted and being assembled.

I know it has been awhile but the painter just gave the car back at 6pm Friday.
Still has to have wheels put on, the inner wheel wells installed.
The marker lights and grills are being shipped from Europe this week.
Plus 3m still to be applied.
Should be done totally next week, perfection can not be rushed. :D:D:D:D:D

Also I have the old carbon fiber wing and side panels for sale :)

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

    :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That, is quite possibly, one of the funniest come backs I have heard/read this year, Darren, hahahaha.... I read this at lunchtime, and I am still giggling my a$$ off.

For those that don't know what it's all about:

Recently, I was seeing a girl in the clinic, who was in with her mom. Very matter-of-factly, she said "Dr. Allan, **** (her brother) says your car is the batmobile. I call it the rainy day car, because mom said to **** (mom's friend) that it makes her wet."

As I said to the boys - mom couldn't get her out of the office fast enough. I blushed for the first time since grade 5. I have NEVER been so embarassed, for someone else.

WOW. Jesus Phil, this is no small operation! Looks GREAT! Man, that looks insane!!! Congrats. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

(On a side note..... I think I see a rather forlorn Diablo VT Roadster, silently weeping in the corner, in the last picture..... :( )

Hey Boys my buddy Tom D just got back from L.A after picking up his incredibly nice 355 spider. He did what all of us wanted to do and drove it back from L.A to Vegas to here.

He said car performed incredible, no mishaps except for minor chips. The car looks awesome, it is a dark grey/blue color called Grigio Titanio. Looks in really good shape, interior is all carbon fiber, it has some massive rear wheels on it, looks good. Engine bay looked flawless.

I will get Tom to introduce himself on FC in next couple of days.

We should have a cars and coffee Thur night at usual spot to view his Ferrari, he is looking forward to meeting everyone.

    Here are pics from today.

Wow - nice 355! I often like the non-traditional colours on F-cars! I had heard about this car from a guy in the BMW club. I hope he will join us for some driving :). Looking forward to seeing it. I'm not adverse to coming up Thursday for cars and coffee, either :)

More driving the better. I am going stir crazy. Car has not been out of the garage since Calgary :(

I'm on call on Saturday, but am in Regina on Sunday for Mary's dance class. Weather forecast has now improved. Anyone up for a spin?? :D :D :D

    Roberto/Darrin/Phil - progress reports?????

Im out for Thursday. My daughter is graduating that night. Might be able to do a weekend cruise but if its sunny and hot and not 800 mph winds I will be at the lake in the damn boat. Weekends have sucked so far for boating. Have fun Thursday if you go out.

Great turnout tonight, despite the questionable weather.

Hopefully there will be at least one nice weekend this summer to get out for a drive.

GREAT turnout! Good to see everyone there, and to meet the new guys. Some gorgeous machinery!

There HAS to be some nice weather coming up - with this many guys, cruises would just be SO much fun :)

Hey guys and gals. Was a quick visit for us but I got a couple of great shots of my daughter with the batmobile. Here they are. Couple of shady looking characters in the background though. HAHA. :)

PS. Sorry about the fingerprints on the car Allan. Please drop it off at my place for the weekend and I will polish it up for you...

    Nice photos.

Might be an idea to blur out the plate numbers though.

Is this really even a concern anymore? It use to be that anyone could way into their local 'DMV' with a plate number and $10 and walk out with a name and address in 10 minutes. But with Canada's new privacy laws do they even do that anymore? I wouldn't think so. So what's the point in people wanting plates numbers erased or covered?
