True on the 50k a month. Easy to make that with decent looks and some good PR skills. In fact, I knew a singer that took in 120k in her first month at a local ktv last year. haha...!!! yeah a lot of singers in singapore nowadays. Easy to make hang flower money from us Sgp guys...I hear it from them all the time. Customers get drunk and start throwing money at them. They get to keep their skirts on too.
oh that ... just a wee burst mate ... can i help it if the machine makes that much noise ??? it sounds faster than it's actually going ...
times ARE hard ... and the competition even worse ... and the euro crisis doesn't help either ... according to this report, discounts of 10%-30% are standard ... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/renting-super-yacht-just-got-164538504.html
The red Interior is just fantastic... she is well looked after The wooden steering wheel feels great driving... solid, large..the way it should be haha!! when you start that V12 ... that's all i need to say. She burrbles away..popping everywhere - the handling of that car for the age she was made is great, obviously i wouldn't be taking corners like in the 599 or mp4 or the likes but for the speed of her its not bad. The ride is comfortable, just a joy with the sound and a giant bonnet in front of you, the gears and acceleration - for 4 gears, she just keeps going and going and going, like there is no end or limit. It's just an absolute joy and privileged of a car. She is VERY temperamental though, the overheating is far from hearsay! also be prepared for a few choke starts hahaah There are some great manifolds and exhausts out there that really open up that V12 noise and lets her scream. As for Malaysia, we are doing a few things there so we have a property also, i was talking to one of the boys on here and will be taking another car there now so the E type and a few others will follow. Which suits me as i can drive her in SG whenever i want as i'm not a SG PR. Just an EP holder which gives me freedom... great choice for not taking my PR it seems..

Who's into architecture? If there is one thing I love more than women and cars ... Combined.... Then it's got to be flawless architecture.... Sadly I don't have the means to indulge in something at sentosa cove... So I make do with this thread which has some of the absolutely most insanely gorgeous houses that I want to live and die in... http://www.luxury4play.com/architecture/17671-official-modern-homes-thread-46.html
The nice and clean look in the first couple of pictures feature mostly Italian furniture. Many of these pcs were designed 30 to 50 years ago and they are timeless. I don't know about architecture, but the Italians are masters of interior deco. You should visit the annual Milan furniture fair. You will be amaze. Italian version of Elle decor is also a fantastic reference for design ideas. I love Italian furniture and some yrs ago, i bought a container of furniture. It's about 30 to40% cheaper than what you can get in Singapore. I can provide you a top Italian retailer if you are interested.
Hi all, I haven't posted much on the site, but do like to read the posts from time to time. I have a 430 spider, and was wondering if I could get advice on where is the best place to get wheel alignment done. Ital quoted $400 which I think is too high. (or is that a fair price in your opinion?) Thanks in advance for any advice.
Yep king, I have a love affair with furniture too and a bit of furniture too bought over the years from mies, corbousier, Herman miller, etc. Never dates although some are looking worse for wear after all the years... Though that adds patina in my mind. Also have newer stuff from Antonio citterio, philippe starck etc that I think are timeless. Sadly no more space for more furniture otherwise would have loved your contact mate.

Damn! I was just discussing with friends about foreigners driving their cars into Singapore & appears that people like you qualify! You should bring your cars to Malaysia then. Let me know if you need help on importing to Malaysia as there's only one guy who holds the AP cert for classics. Anything over 25yrs old can be applied for classic status paying only 20%? of the original road tax which can cost well over RM10K for the 5.3L. My neighbour in KL has two interesting 50's saloons that had some rally stickers+plates & one of them seems to read Paris-Peking! Now, that's my hero ^^ Thanks for sharing your experience on the Jag, is updating the ignition to those electronic Mallory type essential?
me! ^^ I almost did architecture with Glasgow school of Art 20yrs ago! My sis is one so I've been helping her building models since young. Please have a look @ my house which I didn't build, the cost ballooned to S$1.6~2million last year & figured that it doesn't make sense for a terrace to cost $4m here, besides, I can't afford it! It's supposed to park 6 cars with a rotating disc in the hall while a mezzanine floor acts as my studio & overlooks the indoor porch. Has a glass lift & lap pool on the 3rd floor. The glass lift is actually quite affordable, S$45k from China http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140479469&postcount=802 I'll probably export this idea to Malaysia & build since land & construction cost is a fraction there. The architect is my friend from Milan & they do a lot of beautiful projects including Sony chief's winter holiday home! This is the thread for modern homes in Fchat & many guys who posted are architects & developers. There are some really awesome homes there: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144633 Furniture is my other love & if I didn't sell scrapmetal, I might have been a struggling designer now
Jon, that terrace you designed would have been fantastic! Seriously, as much as I love cars, I would have built the place rather than spend on cars! Only thing is you are not in Singapore half the time! As for building costs... They have gone up big time! I built my place from scratch with around 5,000 sq ft built in for 1.3mio 5 years back. How were you going to fit six cars though jon. If using a lift it would have wrecked the facade of the house. There are some pics I have of a house that had a lift to stuff his Lambo into the second stores living room in japan. Do you have anymore renderings of the place you were going to build? Would love to see them. What happened to the block of land eventually? Personally jon, I would build it. You only live once.... Well, unless you are Hindu... Or Buddhist... Or errr As for the fchat thread on houses.... I kinda find the ones posted on L4play more cutting edge... Especially those posted by Cadencem3. I just love those houses he posts. I need to do some upkeep work on my place and was thinking of a slight make over. Does your sis have food contacts for making metal shutters mate?
