Well only 9 days left to register and so far only 2 Ferraris are entered:
    360 Challenge and a 355 Challenge.
Who else wants to drive the nicest track on the west coast?

Well we have cancelled the event due to low sign-ups.
Sorry for getting your/our hopes up.

See you in September at Willow Springs for our big 40th Anniversary Race, Time Trial and Alfa Romeo Cup Race. We have people and Alfas coming in from out of state for this one, sort of a "homecoming". Come out and see/hear GTAs racing.

Curious if the sound limitations applied for this track day prior to cancellation? Would a scuderia be able to run? Aren't challenge cars beyond the typical decibel limitations?

This is a big wet blanket on any track day there. You have to lift while going up a hill where the microphone is located, or install something that will knock your hp down substantially. If you ever get a chance to go on an unlimited sound day, do it!

BTW, not saying that it would have made a difference, but posting in the Nor Cal section might have brought some interest.

It was not my trackday it is with a professional organization the so cal alfa romeo club. This is a racy group with wheel to wheel race group, open passing time trial group, intermediate group and point by novice group. They are an awesome group to run with. I hold my first race license from this club.

90db is the new standard. They keep dropping sound but cars get more modern and get quieter every year too. I have an uncorked SCCA T1 racecar 2004 zo6 corvette and all I did was put my stock mufflers back on. I ran the car to redline inside my garage holding a 20 dollar radio shack DB meter from the driver's seat. 90db is very doable.

Yup they sure are, seems like they only want Prius cars there the way things are going but 90db is just too low.

Yes. I had a custom quiet exhaust built for this event by Craig at Fastcars for my 360C for this event...
