So that's probably why a rifle could be stolen from a soldier just by using a screwdriver! Says a lot about how the system has driven any common sense and survival instinct out of the locals.
the ability to think and act independently has been removed from the local dna over the generations ...
+1 I'm a sucker for anything cantilevered One of my favourite free program is google sketch up. Allows you to build anything in your dreams
Guys, any of you watched Act of Valor yet? Bloody good movie, if I may say so myself that is. What really got me was when the cast names started rolling. Totally didn't expect that. Hand down, one of my favourite battlefield movies of all time. Storyline aside, it was like playing Call of Duty throughout.
NTU graduate and Business Manager offers her body for sale at $3,500 monthly Submitted by Takagi on Thu, 06/21/2012 - 10:16 Some female employees at a local home-grown bank are reportedly moonlighting by offering sexual services to clients, according to a Taiwanese living in Singapore. In a blog post in May, Kathy Chen asked if Singaporean bank employees really possess high moral values and integrity as claimed: As a Taiwanese, and having stayed in Singapore for a brief period, I have discovered a few female employees from the same bank, UNITED OVERSEAS BANK SINGAPORE, but different branches, to be moonlighting as such, offering sexual services for a monthly compensation or per meeting compensation of SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 or SGD 400 to SGD 500 respectively. She further alleged that one of the female bank employees is a NTU graduate who offered her body to one of her acquaintance: One of these female bank employees happen to be one holding the title of Business Financial Manager at the xxx Branch. xxx, who one of her solicited clients happened to be an acquaintance of mine, joined the bank not long before she started to moonlight, offering her body for sale for between SGD 3,000 to SGD 3,500 per month, depending on client. This SYT is under pricing herself. Bet there will be a Q or bidding war if this SYT is for real Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hahaha, like I said, storyline aside. They're real soldiers, which was what got me in the end. Bad acting, but good movie, IMO, at least.
Isn't that, uhm, CHEAP?! Seriously, with that face and figure she should be getting wayyyy more!! OK, off topic..
This has been happening for some time already I believe. Even during my NUS days, I personally knew some girls who were offering themselves to pay their way through uni. Some of them you could see had the good looks that belonged in a magazine and sometimes wonder why they never took up modeling to earn that extra cash. All I know is that I was too broke to "help" these girls through their uni days. Hehehe.
Bro, so did my parents but i do see the difference. We are what we are today because of the values from our parents. But sadly that has became history for current China.
King, you just made my nose bled........and yes really under pricing. That's abt $100 per day. Cheap!
