What are these wires for?

    Last weekend I pulled the console apart and removed the top part where the switches are. Under there were about 4 fairly heavy green wires with what appeared to be factory staked-on connectors. They were neatly coiled up and appear to be factory. Any idea what these are for? It's an '84 Cabriolet.

    Most likely window motors:

    White/black is the hot (12V) supply
    Blacks are ground
    Greens deliver power to the motors

    These were disconnected, though, and all my windows work (though the rears work with typical Ferrari window speed.)

    So does everything on your center console work? Maybe for the radio antenna since its not connected to the aerial switch? Or to rear speakers if you have them. Can you trace it to the other end?
    I was in there a few months ago and do remember some green wiring!@#$#^$*, all over the place, LoL.

    If anyone knows where the ground is for the instruments, let me know how to get to it as mine is intermittent.
