You have the most trigger happy finger on the forum. All you think of is what car to buy. So lucky, i envy you. Read on another forum used RHD SLR in UK now going for 100+K pounds, what about that.

yes, i think it's a good deal. It may not have the best ride but it sounds great with lots of sex appeal and for that price, it's a no brainer

King I think you meant SLS right cos don't remember there were any RHD SLR. Used SLS are about $600k+ locally but the depreciation should be quite heavy & they are also about £100k so works out to be under $600k to import but with the high Coe & no agent warranty, not worthy.

A fax machine like King's(same color #5881) zoomed passed me last nite while i was crossing the road at East Coast Rd. That was the closest i got to hear its exhaust and the shifting was very quick too.

I am starting to like the Mac very much. It is one of those cars that grows on you as time passes by.

Who knows that in 2-3 years time, when I do change out from the Evora, that the Mac, if it is still the most modern Mac, will my car of choice.

Or maybe I am just a biased British car lover.

So far there are 14 fax machine in 3 months because of the early delays. My car had a software upgrade this week. It's called upgrade 9 as it's the 9 upgrade since the introduction of the car. In Italy now, so have not tried it yet. There is another upgrade,10, coming soon in a couple of months. The upgrades seems an ongoing thing like the F1 race car in every race. A very different biz model as they try to learn from feedback and improve. One of the issues is passengers don't know how to open the door. After this upgrade, with the key, you can remotely open both doors. Some owners complain the car is too loud (not me). You can now control the sound you hear in the cabin through a variety of buttons. For guys like me who want a more aggressive note, they told me there may be an additional exhaust option in the near future. Their MSO or special order dept is printing money, so anything you want (within reason) it can be done. Customer service from the dealer has been fantastic. Walk into the showroom and the CSO is there to assist immediately and since i am overseas, after the software upgrade, they deliver my car back to my apartment.

And since you are always traveling to Europe, have you ever aligned one of your trips with the Formula 1 in the many places they go to in Europe? I am sure Monaco would be a blast!

Was invited a couple of yrs ago to Moncao. It's the ultimate F1 experience. The McLaren paddock club was located in an apartment like many others. Sat on the balcony, facing the swimming pool with the hill climb to my left. An awesome location to enjoy the race. The after parties are also pretty hot. Get to see lots of nice yachts as well as special cars there.

That's very fortunate of him and the fax makes a very different note from my ex F car. In fact it sounds unlike any F cars.
My current ride is giving me too much comfort or rather the IBS syndrome is here again not forgetting those interesting upgrades. And do thet charge for those software upgrades bro ?

    Wow.

Must have been a blast. Heard its the one race where the most celebrities too will come to watch. Is it one of those events where the F1 fever last for weeks on end?

I can imagine a personal butler complete with English accent serving you!

The car races by mere feets from you if you walk along the armcos. The streets are so tight & the whole city is like a wonderland with it's pastel colored Neo-classical facade buildings.

Any F1 fan should watch it at least once in Monte Carlo.

Fly into Nice, rent a car & drive over but unless you stay in a good hotel, parking is going to be impossible during the F1 weekend so maybe taking public or walk is better.

It's impressive that you keep getting these upgrades without having to pay for it. I'm sure it's different for the bull and the horse.

Never heard of any brand that constantly updates their cars, anyone? It's like buying a PC receiving software & in this case some hardware upgrades over time. Quite pleasing.

I don't know why but it just doesn't tickle me like the 458 & even lp560. Seems like I'm having a mid-life crisis :D as only the classics make me drool  they have stories to tell just like reading a book & it's fascinating rather than thrilling.
