I had the right rear tire go down this evening. I am running Modena wheels with P Zero Neros and it looks like Tirerack does not have the P275 35 18. For those with 360 wheels on 348's what tires are you using and how do you like them?

    I have Brigestone Portenza S-20A 275/40ZR18 (99Y)

They seem just fine, but they came with the car so I don't have anything to compare them too. Wear appears to be very even, probably due to the car being re-aligned as well as the rear spring platforms were replaced and all 4 platforms were reset for ride height @ a Ferrari dealer.

I am using Michelin Super Sports on my 360 rims for my 348 spider.
    225/40zr18 fronts
    285/35zr18 rears
They grip better than any other tire I have used.

Hey Jeff, do you have any issues with rubbing on your tires with the 360 rims? I am talking about the top of the fender wells rubber when you hit a bump. Thanks

Todd I have zero issues with rubbing and I can't say enough good things about the Super Sports they are incredible.
The tire size set up I have is what a guy I know uses on his 348 track car and he recommended it to me, I am very happy with it.

Thanks for your reply. I have the modular 360 optional wheels on my 348. The wheels do stick out more than the originals. They came will basically new Pirelli P zero tires. The front tire is a 215/45-18 and the rear is 275/45-18. With the front tire being more narrow than the original 225, the overall position of the front tire in the wheel well is very close to the original position in regards to the outside edge. It is probably where the original wheel would be with a spacer. But if I hit a hard bump, it will rub lightly on the edge of the fiberglass wheel arch. I checked my ride height and it is within a 1/4" of recommended. I guess that I will go ahead and raise it the last 1/4". While the rear tires do stick out much more than the originals, it does not rub when I hit a bump. I have wondered if others have had issues with rubbing when they add spacers to get the wheels flush with the edge of the fender. By the way, I also love the Super Sports. I have them on the original wheels. I had planned on putting them on these 360 wheels but decided to go ahead and run the Pirellis until they are done. They run well on the car. Thanks

FYI, I have raised the car since this pic was taken. ;)

I like the reviews that I am reading for the Michelin Super Sports! I think I'll give them a try. Thank you for the feedback. It's not like buying tires for most other cars :)

Thanks! One of the other reasons I had for going with these wheels is so you can better see the brake calipers that I powder coated yellow. Of course you can't see then in that pic. :D Here is a better one for viewing the yellow calipers. ;)

I love it! Yellow calipers on a black 348 looks stunning.

My 348 is red color, and I am thinking about powder coat the calipers in red. although with stock wheels they will not be so visible.

    Interesting ?

I'm running 360's which we're "cut" for my car. The don't sit out as far as my OEM - which I don't like.

they are a bit squirrely at higher speeds. Have Pzero on them now.

My 348 is rock solid with the 360 wheels/Pzeros on it. I think it has more to do with the wide stance of the wheels than it does the tires. I have no doubt that it will handle well with Super Sports on it as well.

Thanks! I am very happy with the yellow calipers. To give you an idea as to how much of the caliper can be seen with the original wheel, here is a pic of mine. I know that you can look at your own car to see this but I think it is different when the caliper is a different color than black.

No you are not blind. :D I decided to change it up a bit. I can swap them out easily now. I also installed the Lemans grill on it as well. I covered the grill with carbon fiber wrap. ;)

    Thanks Mike! :D

I am now working on a project to make my own real carbon fiber rear grill. I will let you know how that goes. ;)
