    I would like to invite everyone to a series Cruise Nights sponsored by the Village of Morton Grove.

    It has plenty of space (all show cars are in a roped-off area) and the people who run it are friendly and they welcome all classics, hot rods, sports cars, exotics, special interest and ,of course, Ferrari and Maserati. There is food, music and ice cream.

    It's on the 2nd and 4th Friday (this Friday) of each month throughout the summer.

    So if you are looking for a reason to run those horses, but don't want to go too far...this is it. You need only a lawn chair... (probably a small one, to fit in the car)

    --Prairie View Shopping Center
    --6800 West Dempster (just east of Waukegan Rd.)
    --Morton Grove, Il.
    --Time: 5 to 9 p.m.
    --Dates: June 22, July 13 & 27, Aug. 10 & 24, Sept. 7

    I will try to keep all the Ferraris in the same area...however it all depends upon WHEN they arrive??? So...

    But, the lot is big and will handle whatever we need...even trailers (which we will have tonight, with a Michelotto 360 N-GT race car)

    Looks like pockets of heavy slow moving storms. Most places are clear, but if one of these hangs over you I'm seeing reports of small hail...

    Anyone know if the show will take place?

    Look at the radar. A pretty big storm cell is heading your way. You might want to identify a place to get your car under cover (gas station?)

    Looks clear behind the storm. I'm coming from Aurora and may follow the storm but keep behind it. Still undecided.

    Did anyone make it to Morton Grove? Got my car all cleaned up and ready but it looked like some nasty weather was moving in so I bailed on the idea.

    No there was no Elise last week. I'll be there today although I would like to get home in time for the Olympics ceremony, 6:30 I think?
