Happy St. Patrick's Day!! Katies was obviously packed today in celebration of St. Paddy's day. I got there at 7:30 AM and the entire lot was packed. There were a few spots here and there.

There were plenty of Italians being represented from the Lamborghini's to Ferrari's and beautifully restored 1960 Alfa Romeo. Lash...I loved your Pantera! :D I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk more.

The English were also in attendance with the Aston Martins along with a small contingent from Bentley.

    Enjoy the pics!

Took the boys on Saturday to let Mom sleep in. Ran into a bunch of friends too.
The six year old did appriciate the pair of icons from his dad's youth. They could not understand why Luigi got a paint job from his old yellow color. I could not convince them that Bumble Bee is a Camaro and not a Ford GT. And how about that classic 2001 Jeep Cherokee from the last week of production? :D

Nice, I wished I could have been there, looks like quite a turnout, thanks for sharing the pics all--that way I know what I missed.

Wunderground says 90% chance of precipitation, Weather.com says 60%...

Think anyone will turn out tomorrow? I might set my alarm and see what the sky looks like in the morning, but it's pointless to drive up there if everyone else stays home. :p

I'm hoping for the best but don't think it's going to be very pretty in the AM...

Hey guys, not usually one to delve into the NoVa threads, since I'm quite a distance away, however I'll be in the area this coming weekend of March 30-April 1.

IIRC, Great Falls C&C meets every saturday? If so, I'd love to join in on the fun, weather permitting. I'll be in the Reston area, so it's just a hop, skip, and jump away.

    Best,
    - Ravi

If it doesn't rain you can be guaranteed there will be so many great cars every Saturday. Definitely worth the trip.

Is there a particular reason why no posts to this thread anymore. This used to be a pretty vibrant thread with lots of pictures, comments, etc. And I know it's not because C&C at Katies is dead, because that's pretty much a concours every Saturday.

I used to post pictures here, but back in July of 2010, I got an automatic notice from the forum that I was 'over my limit' of photo uploads. I sent a message to the moderators, asking why they'd be asking for a paid membership for someone who provided them content for free. I never received the courtesy of a response. I now post pictures elsewhere.

I was wondering the same thing. Why don't you make a new thread for pictures? I look forward to seeing the pictures, especially to the ones I miss.

It has nothing to do with this thread, it has to do with individual members' upload limit (or storage limit, if you will). This site doesn't let you hot link images, you can only attach them into the thread. That's why when I post pictures, it's just a link, because I hit my attachment limit a long time ago.

Hmmmm, that's too bad. The site is missing some great content.

It is only $15 to subscribe to Silver which will remove the limit on attachments. Some of the best areas of this site are in the subscribed section.

I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I'm on a lot of different sites/forums and people appreciate my photos. I'm not going to spend money to share my pictures with members on one site when I can post them for free elsewhere.

I completely understand. I rarely visit any other boards other than this one so for me it makes sense. Most of my time is spent in the subscribed areas here.
