A long story now comes to an end. This 100%-correct replic, based on the ex-Peter Kaus mock-up in his collection, and fitted with an original engine is looking F A N T A S T I C and ready to go and frighten some other cars! Steve Hart made a tremendous job for owner B.B. to get the visual mistakes off the Peter-Kaus replica (that was sanctioned by DeTomaso himself when he owned Maserati S.p.A.). I know it's kind of a gruesome question, but what on earth did Lucky Casner hit when he crashed 002 thus losing his life (RIP)? A tree? Debris on the track? Mechanical malfunction?
