How i wish that is the case. Can only afford one at a time. I am actually thinking what to buy after the fax. Was told the open top fax is coming in a year's time. That's an option but i need to see it first. A used Aventador at the right price may also be tempting. Any suggestions?

The V12 Lambos are big cars & not most convenient @ times but you have your other stuff.

Wonder how will the door work on an open top Mc.

Had dinner with my dealer from Rome last night. Even he had to sell his 3.0 X3 cos anything above 2.0L triggers attention from tax authority.

A 2-3 yr old low mileage Cayenne is only Euro25-35k now! Cos nobody wants them over there anymore yet we're still looking @ S$300K over here which is like Euro200K

Anything sales bill above Euro3K will require a copy of buyer's ID that must be submitted to tax department where they'll check how you afford it. geez...

Convenience is not a description for a V12 lambo. Had a Murcei before so i know it's not so friendly but the Aventador looks so good and is calling me every time i see one.:D Both the fax models will have the same door. Because it has a cf tub, there will be no loss of BHP like other spiders. That's one of the selling point of this open air fax.

In Italy, they have a culture to pay in cash to get a better deal as they don't declare the transaction. To improve tax collection, they have new laws on how much cash can be use and the requirement of ID if one pays more than a certain amount in cash. Now everyone there has a headache after all these years of evading taxes. This is the new normal in Italy.

Haha! Then what are you waiting for? Shall we call Mel for you? :D

Oh forgot about the carbon tub so they could just chop the roof off & have varieties. Does the original tub has a roof?

Met Jeff of e-Collezione just now & he has an orange Mp4 in his showroom now.

Oh boy, I'm getting the thick end of the anti-Ferrari feel now.

Paying a high premium & very restrictive insurance. Just two named drivers & any extra will be S$1.8k per pax  Excess is $30K local & $60K overseas. All citing the recent Machi case. What a load of bull

You are so kind:D I know Melvin very well and plan on staying away from the Lambo showroom this year. The open air fax will have a retractable CF roof. I think i am more likely to get the open air fax than the aventador.

That's a good point. I remember when i use to visit Moscow during summer those Ruskie babes will take off their tops and relax by the river/parks.

It's a matter of price bro. If a 2 yrs old Aventador can be under S$1m, it'll be attractive but the OMV is lesser than SV.

Don't you love the sight of cypress trees lining on the sides when you drive?

The only place that I know of with this kind of look here is somewhere in Lim Chu Kang.

With the LTA rules on re export, a five yr old car's price in Spore will mostly likely be higher than export price+OMV rebate+COE rebate. In a practical sense, a higher OMV for the SV does not mean anything.

hmm that actually looks pretty good .. although the tiny engine window looks a little silly & pointless. No doubt more about point scoring than anything else.

yup very sad to read that .. sort of glad that he doesn't have to see the complete demise of his beloved company though.

It's been a tough few years for him both personally with the loss of Andrea but also professionally with Pininfarina slowly but surely going broke. Ferrari going completely inhouse on the F12b said it all.
