Got my model today

No rear carbon? Hmmmm... that's a mistake I think.

 

Did you modify your order at a later date to add the carbon rear segment? The reason that I ask is that I'm wondering if that once Ferrari recieves an order they immediately send off the specs to the model builder and if there's any modifications to the order the modeler might not get notified.

 

Time to get out those old Testor's model paints!

 

I was just thinking about this the other day. How long after your 458 delivery did you get the model?

 

Great. I only have about 650 miles to wait.

 

Another $300k model with a free Ferrari! I think it's a nice touch.

I've had my car for 3 months, and no bloody model.

 

Wow you should check with the dealer. I got mine in a month.

 

Guess I should do the same. I'm also at about 3 months.

 

I'm sure a black sharpie would do the trick

 

BTW, did anyone of you know that these gadgets being given to us customers (leather-covered USB-stick, leather folder, car model) are all being paid for by the dealership and NOT Ferrari themselves (EUR 480,- over here) ?!?

My 430 "passport" with production pictures of my car was not accurate. Car pictures were of euro car not my US car. When I got model of my 458 it came through with "white 10 " specs not "red 10 specs." I am therefore guessing that they are using first specs to save time as has been mentioned above. Was your rear carbon specced from the start? Regardless, I am waiting on spider AND spider model so jealous of you having both!

 

got my model today as well! ... but same as yours DREW_4RE... no rear carbon grill...

did your get resolved? theres a contact email on the spec sheet inside the box for comments/complaints, have you tried emailing them?

would love to know if yours got corrected...
