early "Wolf-like"and later wing (with the side plates)

personally, i like the earlier, cleaner version, a bit more

imo it is more agressive and points out the shape-inclination of the wing

    Thanks for sharing.

Judging by the cars in the backgroiund it looks like these images were more than 10 years ago?

I think this car went to Northern California and the wheels were painted silver...

    Alberto:

Here is mine. The pattern looks very similar to what is on my USA 5000QV, but mine has more of "brown" color to it. I suppose to go with the Champagne leather.

Yes, they are the same textile. I was told by former Paratelli workers that textile was the same for 5000S and QV.

They do not remember the 400S as they started working at Paratelli's Shop in 1982-83, when there was just the 5000S.

    Thanks Mike.

    Ciao

Here is a pic of the roof lining of my 1976 Silhouette. The pattern is very distinctive and perhaps the same as Albert's roof lining. Anyhow if this material was being used in 1976 perhaps it was also used on the 400S (1978)

my picture is not very good as was taken with flash in a dark garage, but the lining is the same as Jalpa Mike (he took a better picture) and your pattern looks the same as mine and Mike's.

As Paratelli did almost every Lambo in those years, i suppose there was just one roof textile, as your Silhouette one.

Some interiors were made at Autosport in Torino: they could be a bit different, but they were very rare and not so well done as Paratelli's ones.

All OEM interiors i saw had the pattern of Jalpa Mike car, but a bit more clear as mine and yours: Jalpa Mike has a darker one, like the replacement now available, but probably they had two tone depending on the interior colour. Today is just available the darker one.

    Thanks

    ciao

How much does the replacement material cost?

Also, does anyone know if there is any sort of foam backing for this headliner? I swear, mine feels like nothing is between the headlinder and roof! It feels as if it is glued right to the metal..... Unless all the foam backing has dissentigrated over the years! ;-)
