Slow session thus far. Track's drenched and it's still drizzling, Banzai Kobe just locked up and went off track.

Sky reports that this might be the best the weather's going to be all weekend?!

Talking about tire issues now. teams only get x wet/inter tires per weekend... but what if it rains all weekend? do they call it quits after 25 laps because their last wet tire became a slick? hopefully pirelli can ship some more wets in, im sure all teams will agree.

....and it looks like it will still be pissing through P2. It should be an interesting weekend :)

And it looks like it will be relatively cool all 3 days. I fear for Massa (and anyone driving around him) this weekend.

The red bull looks much better than their first ''face car''.

Interesting. Ross Brawn came out and said as a team, Mercedes is more focused on tires than aerodynamics. He pointed out how close cars were at Valencia and that of the top 10 cars there was no possible way they were all running equal downforce, thus his point is the tires are more of a factor than the aero. I have to agree.

When a driver like Button can't figure them out, it may be time to concede that they are the wild card in this year's WDC/WCC contest. Whatever Alonso's doing (in a clearly inferior car) is what Brawn should look to replicate.

...and everyone else for that matter.

How does Hamilton set the fastest time when he can't keep his front wheels on the tarmac?

I agree Ferrari have certainly had the best luck with tires this season. Their car is about what W02 was for Mercedes last year aerodynamically, but this season is proving that aero just doesn't matter quite as much. If I had to guess, I would say Ferrari were surprised by any of their podiums and victories so far as they certainly were not expecting any of them. As I've said before, this is great for fans but terrible for engineers especially aero guys.
