    I just woke up to the headline "Alonso tops dry final practice at Silverstone", http://en.espnf1.com/greatbritain/motorsport/story/83465.html.

    Now I need to read the details to see if it was a dominant performance or were the others off their game...fingers crossed.

    Wish I had gotten up an hour earlier to see it live.

    the lotus showed well, could be a contender

    the ferrari not as convincing, fast times from alonso, but he's working that wheel harder, and the front/rear balance then he should be IMO

    hami will be strong i think, and vettel looks like will be in form

    I agree, but the Lotus doesn't like cold temperatures too much.

    A Hamilton win would be great for the brits, seeing as it's a jubilee year for them. So here's to hoping a German will win :p ;)

    i think there is of course great pressure on both hami and button to place podium for this one, but if button can bring his game to match hami's showing, that would be good

    i'm not a big alonso nor massa fan, but i am tifosi so hope the reds show well ...if alonso is fast now, here's hoping in quali too

    30 minutes to quali :)
