Funny, Hamilton said on friday that the car was quick wet or dry..:) (how did he know, when they didn't drive in the dry yet I don't know).

Based on Button down in 18th, I think it's fair to say the Macca struggles in wet conditions. Really, it sounds like the changing conditions punished him...

Argh. Hope that's not gonna happen to F1.

I'm just quoting what Louise said :D. Button has been struggling most of this season anyhow (unfortunately)

We only get the delayed viewing today, but now it shows on that channel they're going to repeat f1?! Hope they got it wrong...it just finished!

McLaren are having a tough time trying to get the Inters to work for them; Whitmarsh pretty much said their cars are competitive on the more extreme tires so either slicks or wets.

I bet they're praying for pouring rain tomorrow.

Looking at the sector times Webber was faster for S1 and S2 but somehow lost .3 for S3 his story about being held up was probably true and cost him the pole

With the changing conditions we can't really say who has the better speed I guess we find out tomorrow!

Alonso amazing. Shoe does it again- top marks to the old boy.

Looks like another zero pointer coming up for Hamilton as he is starting next to the self destruction assassin Maldonado.

I knew that front suspension looked oddly familiar.

We don't need no stinking sprinklers. ;)

Button said that his last set of inters had far more grip than the ones he set his Q1 time on; he was up more than 1.5 seconds in the first two seconds on his last flying lap, but then backed off too much for the waved yellows on the last 2 corners. He was amazed that the second set of inters had so much more grip than the first set...

Memo to Jenson; "Err, changing track conditions, old chap!" ;)

I too heard him "enthusing" about 'em, but I dunno. [And was it inters or wets?] My guess is the track was just changing, fast. Nothing to do with any inconsistencies in the tires.

    Cheers,
    Ian
