    agreed but i feel during his tenure with Ferrari, Alonso has held his part of the bargain, Ferrari has not. bad cars, design, set ups, strategies, etc but Alonso always makes the best of it. i would find it disheartening to put on a fantastic show in yesterday's conditions to take pole, race brilliantly all day, only to be passed with 4 laps to go because the car is not designed well to preserve the soft compound.

    Checo has every right to be. Heck, I believe almost every driver on the field has a right to be. There's a difference between dancing on the edge like Senna did and not even being sure where the edge is which is what Maldonado is doing. Or, he knows where the edge lies but crosses it anyway out of frustration.

    mcnish took at replay look at the incident (this race) and shows maldo ahead slightly, perez didn' really leave room for maldo to runout wide at all ...it does look like just a race incident IMO

    Everyone was not able to get the softs to work right at Silverstone, it wasn't a strategy/design flaw specific to just Ferrari. And he had no choice (regulations) to use the softs for the last stint, because he had already used all his available hards.

    He is stupid ie polite words lacks "awareness". He admitted in a scripted interview that he just got out of the pits on cold tires...yet he assumed he would get miraculous grip to pull off a stunt like that?

    what stunt? perez was making a move on the outside, and didn't leave runout room for maldo, and maldo of course should try to hold his inside line ....i'm not a maldo fan, so not defending him ...i would agree with you, had thier postions been reversed in that incident
