    Was going over some memories from earlier FerrariChat. While I am definitely not the oldest here, it's interesting to look back on who has come and gone.
    Certainly not all inclusive, here are a few criteria to know if you have been around Ferrarichat a bit:

    1. Remember when it was FREE with many less forums. (And the quickest way, and one of the very few ways, to piss Rob off was to say "yeah, the old FChat was better..." :) )

    2. Can name the member that always wrote in caps

    3. Knows who DeS is, has seen DeSChat and how he and #2 might have had something to do with each other; Can name what DeS did before he got his tatoo and what American car he drove.

    4. Remembers Ferrari-Talk starting and which F-chatter started it

    5. Tech guys that remember Kermit

    6. Can remember Ferrarichat when it was just Rob's hobby

    7. Was initially a member of FerrariList

    8. Has posted on a thread by such Hall of Shamers when they were actually FChat members: Gary Green, AllanLambo, Wyo550, etc....

    What do some of you 15 year+ folks remember?

    I guess I am an Fchat middle aged fart. I can qualify for about half of them...

    One of my favorite early threads was the oil the rotors one... Too bad the OP in that thread got run out of town, he would have been a good person here.

    Still a member, mostly lurking, on FerrariList. Just a handful of people posting there now and I've met a few and they are like old friends.

    It's funny, I don't think too many are active on FChat, which is a shame.

    I remember Ed Gault, Magoo, a young teenager named Brett who had a 308 and did a lot of work on it himself and a certain member who's official name is Dan who used to drive a Saturn I remember his first post look at how many he has now! Also a certain BATTERY SALESMAN FROM NEW JERSEY!

    I also remember those late night calls from Darth, Vince, Bruce and the rest of the F-chat calling tree! Matter o fact I still get them I just don't answer the phone anymore lol

    I first found the "old" Fchat in late '01, but hung out on Tom Yang's board since I was interested in Enzo-era 12s, and the conversation here was all about 70s-on Ferrari.

    Didn't sign up here until Oct. '03. A few of the items on the OP's list ring a faint bell, most I don't recall.

    I do remember AllanLambo well. He was a standout.

    maranelloman was a hoot!

    the early days were nice, but gotta say i like the new and improved format. saves me trolling through hundreds of pages to find stuff i am interested in discussing.

    like many of you, all but 7; and like Scott, I used to lurk Ferrari List but my memory is that it was almost exclusively a discussion board for 3x8 cars and I was/am into the older stuff, so I lived at Yang's board. I joined when the Vintage forum got fired up.

    and I thought DES's car was a Sebring (maroon) and not a Saturn? And the driving gloves, babee.
