Here you go: www.formula1.com/results/season/2012/872/7149/fastest_laps.html If you have SkyGo, it pulls up all that stuff live during the race via race control. I also like watching in-car laps by Kimi and Alonso live during the race and so that's how I remembered.
"A return to the fastest-laps charts finds Alonso just eighth, a statistic which starkly illustrates just how well Ferrari's resident genius did to retain second place" Ain't that the truth. FA is working miracles...has been all year.
Now go read the Winners and Losers for the opposite journalistic experience from the hack Andrew Davies. Guy is a joke. Wouldn't put Hamilton in the losers section if a gun was up to his head.
Hey, Lewis had a fantastic day Sunday. He wasn't hit by an asteroid, gored by a lion or ... Well you get the point.
LOL at Maldonado for dumbing things down to being "unlucky": http://www.planetf1.com/driver/18227/7886237/Pastor-I-have-been-unlucky Sounds like this clown will probably never learn...he's even bold enough to say, "I was even gentle with Kimi (Raikkonen), giving him position." LOL LOL, he pushed Kimi wide to the point he had to go off track! and Kimi didn't gain a position! If that's gentle, I'd like to see what's rough haha. Can't wait for the next race incident at Hockenheim. Bring on the entertainment "stupid driver" just don't kill someone.
Hmmm, I see that Sam Michael is doing what he did to Williams for all those years to McLaren now. McLaren will soon be a mid-field team if they don't sack him. Note how Williams are on the improve again since he left ... Just my opinion ... Pete
Mauldonado is not doing anything MS or FA hasnt tried. They just pulled it off. Wanna bet everyone gives him plenty of room ?
Came across this on Twitter: http://www.pirelli.com/tyre/ww/en/f1/nfeeds.html Link has several tire related videos sorted by race. bigger version of below: http://www.pirelli.com/mediaObject/pirellityre/ww/en/extra-catalogue/f1/infographic/ig_silverstone_big/original/ig_silverstone_big.jpg Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think that's a little harsh on your countryman!..... While it's certainly true that Williams are moving forward & Mclaren backwards right now I don't think we can blame Sam. He didn't design the car(s), either then or now. He's had considerable success over the years and is obviously highly thought of by the boys from Woking. My take is they've simply lost their way with the thing; They were quick in testing then went well down under. I'm not saying they then sat on their laurels but were maybe a little overconfident? Couldn't happen to a better bunch IMO! Cheers, Ian
