I really feel A. Silva took the first fight too lightly. I think you'll see an A. Silva come out better than he has ever been before. He has a greater reason to train hard for this fight.

I agree. I think A.S. didn't think anything of Sonen before, but now he's gonna kill him.
I bet he's been working his TDD for two years.... and I think, what Anderson works at, he gets good at, so.... I hope he really, really hurts Sonen.

If Chael loses he may be able to find a career in comedy.

Really? You mean just like how the 1st fight went?

Sonnen will not make that mistake again.

I'm SO PUMPED for the fight tonight!!!!!! I still think A. Siva WILL DESTROY SONNEN. More like (HOPE) he does! I think the steriod think will make a HUGE difference. Plus A. Silva didn't take him lightly this time.

except that's all he did. dance. it's not a dancing contest. & that's the reason he got a warning.

i agree that he deserved to lose simply cos he wld not stand and engage.

ha ha.... No. I mean, that Silva is a fighter who develop and adapts and I think HE won't make that mistake again. I think Silva will dominate. I might be wrong though....

I can't stand Sonen. I think he's straight out of the WWE. He's a criminal and wanted to run for office, he's a steroid cheat (16:1 !!! that's what Oveream had too...), he is an idiot (I thought since I tapped I lost that round, not the fight...) He is so full of himself he just rubs me the wrong way. He should go to WWE where that attitude is a good thing...

Historically, Sonnen has weak submission defense. He's had a ton of fights, and he still gets caught.

I think Anderson will not overlook him and dominate. Chael is crazy tough, it will take a sub to get him to quit, but I suspect Silva will pound on him for a few rounds before they call it.

I like both guys, but even I admit that Sonnen went a bit too far this time, so in a way I'd like to see Silva emerge the victor here (although I was pulling for Sonnen first fight).

Like I said........ (although, I was sweating it a little in the first round. ;-) )

I wish Tito had won for his last fight, but Forest is such a good guy, I can't say he didn't deserve the win.

    Great fight night....

I don't think Silva took Sonnen lightly the 1st fight, I just think he has never faced such an effective TD artist, and could not do anything about it. The 1st round of last night's fight went exactly the same way, and would have kept going the same way if Sonnen hadn't gotten caught. Sonnen showed a lot of class at the end of the fight, as did Silva. It was very nice to see that.

Love Sonnen or hate Sonnen, he brought the fight to Silva better than any other fighter Silva has ever faced in the UFC. I still believe that Sonnen is capable of beating Silva, and I hope we see fight number 3 sooner than later. Realistically, who the heck is the UFC going to have face Silva next? I think it's time for Silva to fight Jon Jones......

Personally, I love Sonnen. I think is is highly intelligent, and very entertaining, and is one of the best MWs in all of MMA. He is easily the best promoter in the UFC.

On another note......why does Forrest run out of the cage like he did at the end of the fight???? I loved his interview with Tito.......that was classic Forrest.

He did early on but backed away from that statement long before the actual fight.

The second round was Beautiful. The 1st. rd got me nervous. But Anderson adjusted and had his way. a 3rd. fight? WASTE! Anderson is 2-0 against him. It's almost like giving Rich Franklin another chance. Anderson's anjustments and Chael's Sloppiness was the turn around point (oh and the lackof Steriods) cant forget that HUGE advantadge Sonnen had in the 1st fight.
Face it, Sonnen couldn't do anything on the ground this time to Anderson. Had a good take down but that was it. 5 minutes of NOTHING. Is it obvious I still can't stand the guy?
Anderson proved AGAIN why he is the BEST MMA fighter in history. BUT... That being said, I hope he doesn't fight Jones. I think Jones will be Too Big, Too Fast, Too Strong and Too Much for Anderson at this time of his career.

What?!?!? You think that Rich Franklin was equally competitive as Sonnen?!?!? Franklin will never beat Silva, whereas Sonnen should have beaten him the 1st time, and should have beaten him this time as well. Franklin was never in a dominant position, whereas Sonnen was in a dominant position the vast majority of both fights.

I rewatched the fight......... for the life of me, I don't know why Sonnen started to get fancy on his feet with Silva........attempting that spinning back fist put him in the position to lose. If he would have stuck to putting Silva on his back, he should have won it.

What did Sonnen do on the ground the second fight? He couldn't do ANYTHING. Same as the 1st fight. NOTHING!!! Yes, He did control on the ground but He has no finishing abilities. (ok, Stann was an exception)He didn't know what to do with Silva in the 2nd fight once he got to the ground. That spinning backfist was a JOKE. But hey, that's a part of the game you thow some that land and some that don't. You miss with ANYTHING against Silva and you'll pay, regardless of what it is. And Sonnen paid!!! What I compared with Franklin and Sonnen were that they both tried twice and both failed. Why give them another shot? Bottom line is: Chael's Ground and Pound is ineffective against a good BJJ guy. That's been proven over and over.

You wrote: Sonnen SHOULD HAVE BEATEN SILVA THE FIRST AND SECOND TIME, AS WELL????? Really? Then why didn't he? Cause he couldn't or he would have. Silva sould have beaten sonnen the first time and the second time and..... HE DID!
