Just when I need a little entertainment... All I have to do is go back to this thread.

I must've really been under a rock to miss Mr. Hedge's insurance Press Release in April.

Yet, he does NOT conclude there. There is, in fact, more: “We are entering the business to take the lion’s share of the market... "

I remember me sitting in Venezuela last year kind of stuck and bored and suddenly I discovered this thread. It was like making friends over FChat far away from me. North & South Carolina, how exiting!! I got kind of sad since The newsflow from Kevin sort of died down by the end of last year. I went back to Germany, missing all my friends posting on this thread.

Now I know what Kevin has been up to. He was preparing to take over the insurance industry, and it took him only four months. I mean, I am in the asset management business for ten years now, but in that time Kevin has already conquered his second industry!

Hi to you all, it's really good to hear from you again. Kevin, you have done good!

 

I've not posted here but have a few stories to share and this last tactic just takes the cake. I've been in the insurance industry since 1982, and I recived a call from Kevin asking if I knew any agents he could recruite for the open enrollment for Medicare Advantage. I had just found out a few days before this call that my father has stage 4 prostage cancer. It has gone to the bones....Well, I suppose I was in shock and mentioned it to most anyone that would listen as I searched for experiences that others may have had and low and behold my friends began to get text messages that simply said "Buy cancer insurance" from Kevin. I have never met anyone as ham fisted when it comes to marketing their products than Kevin. If people would just be upfront and tell him what they really think, he may leave them alone and move on to the next pea. This type of thing-I find offensive, as did Julie. Yes, she recived this message as well. I was stunned.

 

I wonder if I should feel bad that I did not get a message from Kevin Hedges at Hedges Insurance Agency located at 1300 Appling Drive #201 , Mount Pleasant , SC 29464 ????

 

I just got cured of stage 4 lymphoma - but at least I did not get a call

 

David, sorry to hear about your dad. I'll keep him in my prayers.

You know it takes a special kind of slime to take your unfortunate situation, and figure
a way to profit from it. Criminal? No, but it shows a definite deficit of character.

I once saw a video of a dung beetle pushing a ball of dung for more than a mile.
I was amazed at this insects determination and perseverance. Now I realize that
he was only doing what he had to do to get a turd like Kev out of his life!

All communities have their share of bottom feeders...even Fchat.

I can't express in words how much I appreciate the kind words, and the encouragement. Positive thoughts and actions are so very important, and I am sure that's part of the reason you beat cancer. I still smile when I think of what you said-Cancer will make you faster on the track! Lol!

Beating cancer is attitude, good doctors, family support and "it just ain't your time". I almost died in October - never thought I would ever be on the track again. Had my last chemo in early December and spent most of the winter accompanying my daughter to the track and watching her in her Lotus - felt like hell but in early March Ronnie from Fort Lauderdale Ferrari rented PBIR for his clients and I felt like it was time to go. I belted in and took off like a bat out of hell - got sideways in almost every turn - on purpose. When I got back to pit lane my track support guys were like, what was that all about - we have never seen you that fast. That's when I told them cancer makes the car go faster.

 

Win.
