Can anyone explaine why the Fiat 8V, which I believe is a "one off" Vignale, has a Maserati script on the boot/trunk lid? Is, or was the car powered by a Maserati V8????? ~Ciao and best! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The answer is quite simple: the car some years ago for sale with a dealer in Duesseldorf, Germany. The former owner put this Maserati script on the boot only for the reason to confuse people. Its a FIAT nothing less - but also nothing more! The car was sold and the new owner, a very private industrialist and collector from Germany, also likes this kind of confusion and kept it. Strange? Yes....!:
Tomorrow I'll change the Bmw logos on my car with RR ones. Then I'll will put the Lancia's logos on my 3500, and the Maserati's logos on my B20. I don't know what to do with the Fiat logos, mmmmh... may be I'll put them on the case of my PC. Just to get people confused... Ciao Andrea
So what you're saying is if we're of the Hindu religion there is a chance. Thanks Walter. I'm not Hindu but I have faith in Schu anyway! Sorry to derail the thread !
I sent this page at last italian owner who liver near Venice,he was surprised to see the name "Maserati" in his 8V. He doesn't understand why it is being mounted. He don't sell directly to the north Europe, but through a well-know Belgian dealer.
