red one is a 65 sunbeam tiger, CAV GT40, 16M, Mcoupe and the real gem in the back corner an original Rothmans RC30 (not a respray, only a handful ever came from HRC with this paint scheme)
Very cool. Is the tiger a 289? And what powers the gt40? I'd say that is a very nice mix in that garage for sure.
302 crate motor in the tiger, wilwoods, BW tranny, all the good parts. 427IR Rousch in the 40, RBT ZF tranny Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very cool. The pipes on the gt40 look like art. I bet it sounds amazing. How's the tiger drive? Looks like it could be a handful, but sounds like its built right.
Here's a nice one: http://jalopnik.com/5919398/this-swiss-mountain-is-our-new-dream-garage/gallery/1 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great garage, the car must have a nice view on the alps The only disadvantage (imo) - despite the huge dimensions "only" 8 cars fit.
Hmmm. Interesting but what's the point? You cant drive out from the cubes and it doesn't look like there's not a good place to view them when parked there. Unless its a way to go parking on Lover's Lane without leaving home.
the 40 does sound sweet, the downshift creates the most beautiful crescendo of sound. another picture of the exhaust, made especially for this car by American Racing headers. as for the tiger, you better have it pointed in the direction you want to be headed when you put your foot down. we just had it on the dyno, 291hp to the rear wheels. the tiger was built by Dales Restorations, he is a tiger expert cal Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
yes, the mcoupe is my trackday car, tough as nails, fast and gets you to the track and home in realitive comfort Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very cool. So basically the tiger handles a lot like the cobra? Couldnt imagine that. That pipe work is amazing. I'm sure both cars sound amazing. Something I miss about the modern muscle cars. Other than the vette, the americans just don't have the rumble anymore. And I'm sure the M is awesome. It's always been a cool car. Quirky, but really cool.
Do you find yourself somewhat stressed from March - July - being in tornado alley? Norman is pretty much ground zero for tornado scares - have you had any close calls?
I just saw this one that has a Maserati in the living room. Pretty cool. http://freshome.com/2012/06/26/striking-transparency-showcased-by-a-modern-live-in-garage/
I have lived in OK all of my life except for a few years in Ohio working for Honda. So I am used to the whole tornado thing. For the most part, Norman has not really had any problems with tornados until just recently. Even then it was not that bad. Mainly damaged trees and power lines with some roof damage. I think it really matters where you live that determines what scares you. Being in Oklahoma, I look at people on the east coast and wonder how they deal with hurricanes. I wonder how people on the west coast handle living with earthquakes, wildfires, mudslides and gang violence. Of course, the people in those areas will say that the chances of any of that hitting them is small. This is the same situation with tornados in OK.
I love collaborating with clients, particularly those who are willing to make bold decisions to set their garages apart from all others. Such is the case with this client, whose Pro Series cabinets match his 2011 Porsche GT3. The color, which is called "Arancia Boreallis", was primarily used by Lamborghini. We wet sanded the powder coating (yes, a lot of work) and hand buffed all exterior panels to give it a mirror gloss surface, much like an auto painted surface. Although the color may not present very well on photographs and is much more brilliant in person, they really make these cabinets look stunning. In my opinion, the iconic GULF oil logo from the 60's had great colors with their baby blue and brilliant orange. Once that neon sign lights up those cabinets, our clients garage is really going to be something special ... wouldn't you agree? no video yet, just finishing off the SB100 registration, then i can get some seat time, get used to driving the beast. its great if your by yourself on the road, BUT get in traffic, the 40" tall height makes for some challenging driving cal
its alot of fun to jump from the 16M, to the tiger, mcoupe, gt40 all in one day, so many different experiences / sounds / fell. cal
The Diablo in your 1st pic is missing the wing !! Did you photoshop it on the 2nd picture ? Nice cars...I especially like the F2001 F1 Ferrari ... (1/8 scale) !
