Lamborghini Cala

I have always been obsessed with cars that are rare and mysterious. It's hard to find videos and information on the Cala. One thing I've wondered, is if there is any footage (other than Need For Speed II) where the sound of this car can be heard? I searched on Youtube and didn't find any.

I'm also wondering if the footage from NFS was the real sound of the Cala, or if it was overdubbed with another car (a common practice in movies.)

Since there's only 1 finding anything on this car is going to be very difficult, especially considering that it's "hay day" was before youtube and the proliferation of digital camera's...

I believe the car currently resides in the ItalDesign museum (I could be mistaken) and every now and again it's taken out to see some daylight at an event.

I believe the sound effects for NFS where real, but again, that's difficult to determine unless you work for EA.

It's certainly a sexy car and still look futuristic today. I would be interesting to see how this car would have progressed if it had made it to production line before the Gallardo.

 

It's true, that's what makes this car so interesting to me. The Lamborghini Gallardo is a very cool car, but you see them all the time, and they are in every other video on Youtube. It kind of takes away from the excitement and mystery of the car. That's why I went ballistic the first time I saw (in person) a Vector W8 and the Ital Design Aztec, and I really want to see a Cizeta V16T.

I think I've actually seen pictures of this in the Lamborghini Museum. It's possible that it rotates in locations. Either way, I absolutely must make it to Italy some day to visit all the car museums there!

Ahh yes, I've seen pictures of that car before. I didn't know they made a model of it though.
