What do you like to wear when you drive?

Nothing. Which might explain why my a/c seems so cool to me.

I find that my John Deere hat distinguishes me from my peers ...

 

Julie and I were thinking about wearing some 70's era fashion to this years Concorso Italiano when we arrive in my 1975 GT4...

I think it would be fun if the participants would wear clothing from the era that their cars were built, ala Goodwood. Photo opportunities would be a lot more fun!

Maybe someone from Concorso Italiano should consider the idea.

I just like to wear something comfortable but I always have my Adidas Sambas on. They are the best driving shoes ever. Anyone else like Sambas?

I never wear shoes and usually have faded surf t-shirts and cargo shorts on when I drive.

Great jacket. My favorite things are a good old pair of Levi's and my Sperry Top Siders....still my favorite driving shoes. As for period things, I still wear my favorite pair of black Ray Ban Wayfarers (5024s)

 

Normal garb. Nothing special...

I usually have a light breathable jacket (black to match the car) to deal with the chilly mornings here in the PNW. If the top is off, my black Ferrari logo cap to keep the sun out of my eyes.

Shoes: I'm 7.5 size so pretty much everything I wear fits well in the narrow confines around the pedals.

I previously bought a pair of Pilottis, but found that a regular pair of Converse sneakers is great for driving. Comfortable and they are narrow, which makes things easy.

I have a friend who wears Sambas 24/7, though. (Not to drive F-cars, but as a daily wear). I gotta get a pair!

 

Yes! My normal shoes end up hitting the U-joint in the steering column on my 355, but Converse work great! I've noticed Mr. Glickenhaus seems to like them too. (one of his interview-photos shows him wearing red ones)

I wear anything but jeans (rivets are bad for leather and paint), usually a long sleeve shirt, since the top is always down. And then a baseball cap with a cavallino on it.

I usually go for the Detroit Tigers hat, Hawaiian Floral shirt, stick on mustache, shades... oh... wait a second...

 

I wear a stupid grin from ear to ear.

THIS is a forum topic that is RIPE for massive sillyness, I was gonna say something silly like I drive my Ferrari in lady's underwear, But I digress !

However, I will answer the question in the spirit that is was intended and show what I was gonna buy for Father's day (for myself).

But given my financial situation (on unemployment) I decided to wait, now that I am beginning to see a little actual, paid work coming my way (Aerospace engineering) I am thinking of buying myself that present:

(I was very careful to select a Ferrari F1 shirt that had no Marlboro logos, I want all the kids in our social circle to know that I don't smoke and do NOT endorse smoking)

(BTW some people say I look like Tom Selleck, car not withstanding, but that's just me !)

I wear whatever I have on - jeans, shorts, Tshirt, whatever...I don't wear anything with any sort of Ferrari logo or emblem (only thing I own that says Ferrari or has a Ferrari emblem on it is my 328). Only logo shirt I own/wear occasionally is a Norton (motorcycle) Tshirt.
