    a real rust bucket, might not necessarily be worth restoration? ...for myself i'd use as parts for a personal speedster replica :D

    I would be surprised if it was worth buying for parts (the wheels are aftermarket and probably worthless). Early 911 parts seem to be pretty available and someone would be underwater immediately trying to restore one this far gone.

    aren't they 914 gas burner wheels ?? not that that means they are worth much. Thru the grill light fixtures and grills are quite sort after ....

    I thought 914s had Fuchs or basic steel wheels. I could be wrong...

    Good catch. Those must be rare -- I've never seen them, although 914-6's were pretty rare even back in the day, IIRC. For someone who likes those wheels, the ~$2750 starting price probably isn't a bad deal.

    Those are Mahle porsche wheels and pretty rare. 914's had four lugs where the 914-6 had five. These wheels did come on 914-6's and some 911's (iirc) they are true porsche wheels.

    Are the wheels potentially worth more than the rest of the rust, err pieces?

    On a different note, I find it humorous that Copart considers Jaguar an "exotic" like Ferrari but Porsche doesn't get this designation; British bias @ Copart?! :rolleyes:
