So just assuming they made 500 of the new Ferrari Hypercar, and just assuming it was amazing and just assuming it was $1.5m and just assuming you were lucky enough to be 'offered' one by the factory, what would do assuming you could somehow find the money?

I assume I would buy one.

Then I would douse it in gasoline, set it ablaze, strip naked, coat myself in grease and fawn-colored paint, and dance maniacally around it while chanting tribal sayings and listening to an all-kazoo orchestra version of Metallica's "The Unforgiven" until there was nothing left but ash.

we know the performance will be there it will all depend on how outrageous the car will look

I would jump on that so quick. I won't be offered nor do I have a spare million or two lying around so it doesn't matter what I think. Regardless of everything else, I'd take one if offered

Considering the Enzo is being sold for nearly that now & this car is mostly likely to exceed the Enzo in styling and certainly performance, yes.

Yeah, I would love to have one. Also, I would love to be the next King of England for that matter. :)

So that means you all think that even at this price it will be a good investment and not worth waiting for a used example?

Unless you have lots of 'history' with your Ferrari dealer you will just have to pay Tom Hartley's price for one.

A used example is going to cost you more. If the car is as epic as people say its going to be, it will be 2-3 million 8-10 years from now. The flippers are going to flip it for more money and they'll get it because some people aren't going to want to wait.

Buying it brand new will probably be the cheapest route. I could be wrong and maybe they are out there. But I've never seen an Enzo sold for less than 700k.

I know it's a moot point but in the tax hell (Australia) we live in $700k is just a bit more than a well spec'd 458. We are so used to paying more than double the US price that $1.5m seems quite reasonable when a 599GTO here was $900k+. At $1.5m I reckon between 5-10 could be sold in Australia, except they will be close to $3m (with taxes) which makes it a different proposition.

    Buy it, sell it and buy a 355 and a 458 :)

I've never been into "hyper exotics" TBH.

I feel your pain...South Africa(another tax hell), the price is likely to be closer to $2.1mil US, though we cant even drive them on the road if they are LHD...

If I had the money would I take one...tough decision actually because one needs to question the relative usability of such huge performance.

In some European countries, such as Denmark, Finland and Greece it shall be nearly 2.5 million Euros after taxes! Same stands for Turkey, perhaps 3 millions over there! Well, whomever can afford it will not really twitch an eylid for an extra million anyway. These items are meant for billionaires to be honest.

Huayra has 700 hp, F12 has 740 hp. No doubt in my mind that it will break the 800 hp barrier and with clever tech, be somewhat faster than almost anything else this side of a Veyron, including Huayra...

Anyone know if the engine will naturally aspirated or turbocharged? V12 right?

I recall there being a statement to the effect that it will be a naturally aspirated V12 with perehaps some form of KERS.

    No. I would not.

    Here's why:

I am 22 years old. When the Enzo was first shown to the public i was 12 years old. I dreamt of this car for YEARS and if I finally had $1.5 million I would be looking for a yellow Enzo. To me (and several friends that I grew up with), the Enzo will always be the ultimate. Yes the new car will be faster, more technically advanced, and maybe even better looking, but it isn't the car I fell asleep dreaming about in middle school.

For $1.5 million, I'll take the Enzo.

No. I would take that couple million and invest it to make $49 billion (yes, a "b") and buy the P4/5. :)

I would have to sell my wife's Scirocco to make room in the garage, but I think she would get over it.
