This is going to be a long line of cars and I think the cruise to LRP will be as fun as the race! I'll be in GBury at around 8:00. I will bring some water, but if we need anything else let me know. If I can fit it in the 348 I'll bring it. Someone please tell me they are going to roof cam the ride up, lol!

If you get to GBury early enough you can rig it on my 348 as long as I am not responsible for it, lol.

Can anyone tell me if in the past you have seen people selling their personal Ferrari cars at Lime Rock as I am looking for the right Testarossa, 308, 328 or 348? The 3's wouldn't need to be perfect as I am looking to put time into restoring the right one. Rob

I can't say I've seen a lot of "for sale" signs but there certainly are a few around. I know of a near perfect 308 but it doesn't sound like that's what your looking for. Are you looking for one that needs cosmetic work or mechanical work?

Two red Ferrari's... great. Can't be a Ferrari rally without at least a couple of red F-Cars.

I hope there are a few folks who know the route to Lime Rock in case we get split up. I do not know how to get there... been there a few times but always followed Lane.

Thanks Lane. Both is fine with me. Reason for the 3's is that they are 8cyl. and easier to deal with than a 12cyl. in my opinion. Besides a really good documented TR will be around $65k> and any of the 3's would be $29-35k for one needing some TLC from what Iv'e been noticing over the past two years. If I go with the 3's I can get to know some great Ferrari People through parts channels, make it a noteworthy car, sell it then go for the TR? I have noticed thr TR's creeping up in value lately. Still sad I missed the F40 a couple weeks ago at GB. Not sure if I will have my car only the bike this weekend which determans my going to LR as going on bike is too long.

Sadly the Audi has an appointment. Just bought new brake pads and tried to install them myself. Turns out AUDI decided to use fancy fasteners meaning special tools are required. Thankfully my local Monro shop was willing to drop in the new pads in for $150....(Gee....such a bargain). Everyone else said no deal unless I buy pads from them and pay $250+. I guess the world is full of Bastages.

Correct. Gale and I will be having breakfast at 0900 in New Hartford and then taking RT44 in. If anyone's going that way be sure to honk if you see us.

Looks like they took a tip from Ferrari. I won't tell you about parts costs for my daily drivers, as it's apt to upset you :)

Very likely, if history is any indicator. I'll certainly try to be there.

Looks like a beautiful day ahead...

Hey all... A couple days ago I came down with something and the doctors don't know what it is. On Thursday I was still mostly alright, then throughout the day yesterday I progressively got worse and worse. I was hoping I'd be able to tough it out and go anyway, but no dice on that one.

Enjoy, and post tons of pictures!

I told you not to go in to that cat house. Square needle in the left nut is the only way to deal with it now.
