Pozzi is one of my favorite F-car colors. Having seen this particular car in person on a few occasions, I can say that pictures do not even do it justice.

    It's simply gorgeous.

Stunning, indeed. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Not sure how I feel about the gray interior on this car, but stunning, nonetheless.

Very beautiful, much better than the rosso/black roof scheme that ~70% of the production seem to have.

No, it is not a "nice" car. It is a big ole mean Ferrari that will stir your soul and make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end.

It will reward you when mastered and bite you when not.

It needs to be driven as hard and fast as possible all the time.

In 20 years it will still give you goose bumps...

It is one of those special, limited edition Ferraris that are part of the myth.

    Oh, what's an F12?

    I agree it's still a car. It's a 350 car in 18 months.

we've been down this road before.

we all know the 599 GTO is just a 599 with an exhaust and no carpets. and if you ask what an f12 is, its that blur on the highway that just blew past your GTO...lol

The 599 GTO is likely to hold its value much better than the "mass produced" models. Low production super cars have historically done so.

it should, and i think it already has. they're already 2 years old and the asking prices would indicate that.

I have two friends, one with a GTO and another who had a 599. I believe your summation is terribly inaccurate. The cars are dramatically different. I've also seen the GTO on the track...its not a 599 with an exhaust. The car is an absolute beast. The gentlemen who owns it, also owns a Scud, F40, and a few other notable F-cars. I recall that his opinion of the GTO was that it was, in a word, terrifying. The sound is just part of the equation. The GTO is on an overdose of steroids...and, from what I have been told from those who have more experience with them than I, if not for the electronic aids, the GTO would be unusable to all but the most adept drivers. The 599, by contrast, is gentle.

The F12 may prove to be faster... just as the the GTO is faster than the F40. However, if the F12 is as detached as I found the FF to be, I'd put my money on a GTO any day.

There should be more to the Ferrari experience than 0-100 times...IMHO.

in my educated opinion, i would strongly disagree that being 'terrifying' or a 'beast' makes a car great. oversteer is undesirable and any great race car or fast street car should be a baby to handle at high speeds. thats what makes a car great. power, yes but more than anything, it needs to be balanced with chassis control.
