I just got in last night from the village, had one on Tuesday night, never had crepes before, it was pretty good, we enjoyed it. Wish I'd known, would have snapped a pic for you
Just make your own? 1 cup flour, 2 eggs, 2 cups milk, a bit of salt. Mix, wait an hour, put enough in pan to just cover the bottom. When top is dry, flip it over. Fill with whatever you enjoy, our favs are honey from our world voyage, mine is choc sprinkles (Dutch of course). Maple syrup works great as well. Gerrit
General admission tickets have been printed for those that do not like to to register online or like to get the jump on things. Also has map of parking areas for event. Will be available at some of the local events. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It won't be the only one of its kind at the show, either... The yellow Carrera GT will be making an appearance, as well!
I will be registering, still waiting on how my work schedule will be in case I'm not available - is there a deadline for registration?
We have not set a deadline yet & it is first come first serve. The Ferrari end is approaching the limit & there is some room left aside for anything really special. We are also communicating with other clubs to make sure there is a variety of other marques represented. We were at mansion today to see were the cars would be set up. The atmosphere, the air & the sight of the lake with sailboats passing by---just love this place, can't wait till show day.

I am planning on being there! The last show was well worth the trip from the Motor City. Is that yellow 355 equipped with the stage 3 Capristo exhaust? Chris
Signed up too. Some very impressive machines slated to be on display. For an event like this I gotta make sure I bring an extra memory card for the camera!
Tonal graphite sketch for "F430 Challenge" - an acrylic on canvas piece that Grant is currently working on for the art exhibit featuring his past and present works to be featured at the Marques d'Elegance show. This will be the the work's first public display. Thanks for saving this for the show Grant. More on Grant later. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Grant merges his twenty-year expertise of photography, excellent technical drawing skills and his mastery of various art mediums to bring the passionate emotions that these exotic machines exude, to the surface of every sketch, illustration and painting. After graduating Sheridan College's renown Illustration course second in his class in 1989, Grant went on to have a two-decade long career in advertising where his photography, digital illustration and graphic design skills were used in hundreds of print and web advertisements throughout Ontario and across Canada. During this, Grant nurtured his Automotive Art, keeping his traditional drawing and painting skills intact. He is now pursuing his Art full time. His award-winning photography - Art in of itself - is usually only the beginning. Grant uses this as an invaluable source of reference to create his artwork. The final product can be a drawing using graphite or conte, a painting using watercolour, ink, oils or acrylic paint, or a completely digital rendering using a Macintosh computer. Grant is a member of the international group Club Auto Artistes and an invited member of the Transportation Artists and Authors Guild. His work has garnered him numerous awards from juried shows and exhibitions including the Automotive Journalists Associtiaon of Canada's "Art of the Automobile". Look what arrived today! The 30x30 canvas print of my vector art piece "F430 Scuderia" for the show's auction. I am bringing the easels for the Marques show to drop off at the mansion after the Humberview cruise. If I can squeeze this in safely I will bring it as well as a preview for those that attend this Saturday. Gave a copy of this to the "I Wish Ferrari" event last year - that one was 36x36 - for their auction. Daytona Auto was ecstatic. What was fun was that it was won by a 6 year old boy... the print was bigger than HE was! He was just beside himself with joy. Its great to get that sort reaction from my work. Awesome!
