No changes in conditions? They have to notify you of an increase that large at least 60 days prior to renewal.

Grundy sucks now after their deal with Philadelphia Indemnity went through. Customer service delays and prices not that great anymore.

Just checked Haggerty because my Maranello insurance was due at Grundy. Haggerty was 1980.00 compared to 1300.00. Did it on the net so am going to call to verify. Grundy customer service has gone down. On my renewal they mailed me the right insurance card however someone elses renewal packet. That probably means someone has all my information in their mail. NOT GOOD!!!!! Will repost if a phone call changed the info.

    K,

My Hagerty policy went up a lot as well (about 50%). No points in 26 years of driving.
I have a quote right now with Leland west at half of my 'old' Hagerty policy. Which is about a 1/3 of Hagerty's new price.
Going to underwriters tomorrow. Will let you know what happens.

No, nothing. Just opened the email and was shocked to see that much of an increase. You are right about the 60 days because it is not due till September .

    Mikee and Kerim,

    We're covered :) . Agreed value 75k, 100/300 coverage, uninsured motorists, full covg, etc. 3000 miles/yr.
If your F car is 15 years old its classified as collectible and the rate is about 35% less than if the car is under 15 years old.
The $521 I was quoted for full coverage at 75k agreed value was kicked back. Since the car is under 15 years old it's classified as an exotic. I guess if it's over 15 it's no longer exotic? LOL whatever. I was still ok with $800

At any rate, it was still half of Hagerty. I would give them (LeLand) a shot. Fairly efficient and priced right.

my .02 cents, accurate as of today :) Insurance cards emailed to me within a few minutes of me saying ok
