What is the significance in the flag emblem on the center console? I've seen different ones. Mine has a yellow backround/black Ferrari horse on one side and the American flag on the other. I've also seen some with crossed ferrari horse flag and a blue "f" flag. Any source of info on these?

btw....soooooo happy to be home driving my car! Catless headers, pipes, and an ECS tune coming in two weeks. The exhaust note is too tame for my tastes. lol

Earlier built CSs came with the crossed flags and the later built ones, Stokpro would know exact production dates, came with the American flag.

Something about importing Ferrari models for 50 years into the USA. However the Canadian market Stradale models early or late never got the 'American' flag emblem...

Looks like it'd be a great DD/track car for someone not needing a pristine model. GLWS....and creating page 200. lol

fwiw....pics of the "damaged" or areas in question would probably help too.

    1365 made or real close.
    365 in US I believe.

Some think 300 or a little less in the US now.

Who knows really. I know for sure of 7 because they are my friends.

The rest could just be Internet LIES :)

Is that yellow steering wheel an original factory option?

That CS is now here in the PNW, but oddly, it still shows up for sale on their website and ebay.

Flag with the "50" is to commemorate 50 years of Ferrari in the U.S. This started with CS's in 136 s/n sequence.

Not new to forum but not an owner. Trying to decide btwn a 2004 360 coupe manual and probably will buy it if the potential deal doesn't fall through. Someone just beat me to the car and put a deposit on it and apparently wants to just flip it. Not sure I want to go where he wants to sell. Just incase that deal fell through I went to FoSD in La Jolla and saw the CS they have there. After my heart returned to normal sinus rhythm and I could speak, the sales guy started the car and...wow. I want to know if anyone knows this car. Prices "seem" to be stabilizing or maybe even dropping slightly (wishfully thinking?). I'm from Florida and don't have much time left in Socal. Should I trust dealer's info. The will do a full service for about $10000. including tires. The listed price is sans service and tires. VIN ZFFDU57A94138094. Thx for any help. http://www.ferrariofsandiego.com/used-San+Diego-2004-Ferrari-Challenge+Stradale-Base-ZFFDU57A940138094

What are you getting exactly for $10K? Why does it need so much?

Looks like the car I almost bought in Atlanta in 2010. Miles match up well as does # of owners. It needed full service and tires but that was almost 2 years ago. I have no idea if it's the same car.

I just bought a CS from Black Horse Motors down in Naples. I recommend calling him. They included a full service done by an extremely reputable service shop (F1 Imports). They inspected the entire car, changed all fluids and filters and walked me through the computer.
