I hope you find your car. I presume you've driven over to their office to see if your car is still there? I presume you've called the local sheriff for information? They would be the one serving any papers... If you can't find it readily I'd submit the VIN to cops and treat it as stolen... if I were you.
Found him! Man accused of writing bad check for $225,000 http://www.abcnews4.com/story/19094789/man-accused-of-writing-bad-check-for-225000
Not yet. Today was my follow up since the last visit only to find that I couldn't reach him by any phone number! I don't live in Charleston, but I'm only 140 miles away. I intend to ride by to see if my car is on the grounds anyplace. My next step is definitely to contact the local authorities!! Thanks! --Nick
Can you tell me how? I'm used to using the tags. How can I do otherwise? Nevermind THIS GUY \/ OWES ME A CAR!!! Heading down tomorrow to see if it's at least on the grounds .... and to contact the police.
Since bond was set for $225,000.00, it's probably safe to assume he's still in jail? I may do more than go by the closed shop tomorrow :|
Karma. It'll bite you in the... Lesson: Be honorable, be honest, have integrity in all that you do. Humble... maybe.
Thank goodness!!! The place is here, under new ownership, and open! Better yet..... My car is here!!!! Engine and all! Making arrangements to get it TF outta here!!!
I wrote a long post this morning over coffee, then deleted it. I'm not sure how much it matters now that EMI is no longer in the Felber hands.
The lady at what's now called "EIS", European Import Specialists, says that Chris is in for over a half mil. That's not to include the $225k he's in jail for.
I would be *very* interested to know the ownership structure of the new place. It's not his Mother, is it? She was involved (heavily) before.
I don't think any of the Felbers have anything to do with the place. The lady there says they were evicted in June and have no ties. I don't know what to believe, I just know I'm getting my car out of there. I think I know this "mother" you refer to. She was an asian-american lady, I believe. I dealt with her, too, but was always on the paying end of the deal and never had an issue.
