May be able to host a fifth anniversary gathering at Autumn View Farm - if there is enough interest. But I'm gonna' want one of those CT Gathering Stickers as payment.

Maybe a live band this time ????

Let me know if there's interest in doing this - show of hands please.

Lane, I posted something a couple pages back, willing to help organize some sort of Foxwoods replacement event. But I don't think I got any responses. Let me know if you if there's anything I can help with.

    Ed,

I can only speak for myself, but I think many people really enjoyed your hospitality at past AVF events and missed it last year. So here's my hand, up in the air. :)

I'm partial to an iconic 250 GTO in the image, if the race girls don't make the final cut. And Ed, absolutely your AVF gatherings are annual highlights!

I think there will be a lot of interest. We all missed the fall drive up to your beautiful farm last year.

Guys love the idea of a special logo for the gatherers! Just a side note, Ferrari is Very protective about their name and logo, that is why the FCA/NER had to change our logo. I also heard something from Miller that Ferrari was not happy with us using their name for the Concorso. I would keep the logo simple and not make it Marque specific or even nationality specific (Italian colors). Also, I love Ferrarichat as much as everyone else but does their logo need to be on the Gbury logo? I would venture to say if you use this for Tshirts, use the gatherer logo and maybe put Ferrarichat on the sleeve?

Most companies want to know what their logos and businesses are being associated with. I can almost guarantee that if a local strip club was doing a strip a thon to raise money for A charity like CCMC, I can almost say 100% that they would not want their logos used for anything associated with that! Just for advertising the Concorso, I had to get approvals from the charities on which logos to use and they have various different ones that don't vary much but are used for different types of advertising materials.

Just my .02 which is worth less than that. Absolutely love this idea though and would buy some shirts or polos or whatever!

I didn't want to add any pressure but AVF is what I was thinking when I said "I'm working on something". Foxwoods was a wonderful time but absolutely no comparison to AVF. Two different supermodels but one of them models gloves.

Mike D...I love it and that one gets my vote.

Mike C...I hear you but believe FChat is integral to us. In addition, it acts as a sort of calling card to show potential viewers (with a little sense) how to find us. The Italian colors are representative of Ferrari which was the basis for the original meet but also acknowledges, Lambo, Alfa, and Fiat. I wouldn't mind some German colors added to support the Porsche, BMW brands as long as it doesn't get to busy. Honestly...I like it like that and might add "Est", move the 2007 to a radius under the shield and fool with the font to make the gatherers the primary note but that's it.

I may be a bit biased, but since this is Ferrarichat and overwhelmingly the core of the group is 90% Ferrari's...I'd like to keep a Ferrari tie-in on the logo. But that's just me...you know, 'Luigi follow only da Ferrari's!!!' :D :D :D

Similarly, there's Subaru groups, Beemers, Viper, etc. who certainly get other marques mixed in over time as friendships develop, etc... I still have 'IWSTI' stickers and shirts, Impreza WRX STi group...and we welcomed 350Z's and others...just not Evo's. :p

As a little aside while on the topic of Logo's.

Kevin Awalt is a friend and fellow car enthusiast who owns and operates a detail shop out of Danbury CT named Gotham auto works. He had a booth at the Concorso last year (the polo grounds). As evidenced by the name of his business he is also a HUGE fan of the dark knight. He developed a wonderfully emblematic and poignant logo to remember the tragedy in Colorado. He is selling these on Tee shirts and as decals (and maybe some other stuff) to raise money for the victims and their families. Please do what we gatherers do best.

Kevin...put me down for a Tee Shirt, (a Polo would be better...hint hint).

    Like I mentioned earlier in the thread. The GTO is a great and iconic image to the Ferrari community.Can you add something like this picture to the decal? The angle is perfect. Of course the full exhaust and tips are black;

I'm truly sorry to hear this. Civility seems to be a thing of the past in our society.

If this happened at home I'd recommend a surveillance system, you can get a kit with a DVR and a bunch of cameras inexpensively. Also, an in-car camera that records to a CF card might be worthwhile -- neither will prevent theft/vandalism but you can collect evidence, and cameras on the house might make the thieves pick a "softer" target.

I'm sure Miller will do a first rate job -- nonetheless, this sucks.

    Frank this is unbelievable!!!
Sorry to hear about this. It is so upsetting that people have such a lack of respect for other peoples property. Hopefully this repair will be a quick turnaround.

Testirob, love this 250 image! Do you have it in a larger file to email?

    Either logo looks great!
