Try lime green... or bright neon blue.. ;)

I painted mine to red with a Rosso corsa then used the stick on stencils. It looks pretty good. Didn't have the gloss though.

I've been rebuilding for members on Rennlist for years, it's not a business just a hobby as I do it in my spare time. If you decide to do it let me know I can help you out.

When I got my car the PO used high temp spray paint and they look horrible! Anyway if you are going to do it, you have to do it right or not at all.

I don't find it ghetto either. I've got red calipers on my silver 360.

I personally like red calipers on black or yellow cars, and yellow calipers on red cars. It is more rare to see yellow calipers on a red car, but I got lucky and the car I found had the yellow calipers!
(it figures, in the picture, BOTH rims had to wind up blocking the calipers)

Had mine painted from black w/ white lettering to yellow w/ black lettering, on a silver 360 spider, the yellow picks up the sheilds in the fenders very nicely. Believe me looks good, you can see my car in profile pic.

I did mine and posted a full photo diary of the conversion... They look perfect using the techniques I illustrated...

Your work looks amazing! But I have a silly question. When you bake the calipers a 90 degrees, why do you have to remove the pistons and seals? 90 degrees is basically like sitting outside on a warm day, I wouldn't think that the seals would get damaged. I don't know how hot they get when used aggressively, but I'm sure it's several hundred degrees. If you had to bake them at 600 degrees for an hour, I would totally understand having to remove the seals. Is there something I'm missing? Thankfully mine still look brand new, but I'm curious, just In Case I do them on a different car, or for the future.

Chris, he's in the UK, so it's 93 celsius, which is about 200 Fahrenheit.

Ghetto Decision? I did not know red calipers were thought of as being ghetto. ;-)

I guess it could be if it's on the wrong car. I think it's impossible to look ghetto on a sports car. Now if you do it on a Toyota corolla, or some kind of minivan.....hmmm

Yeah I should have phrased it differently. Red calipers on an exotic in my opinion is certainly not ghetto. A Toyota Carolla with red spray painted calipers yes very ghetto.
