And Furcal send me to sleep :)
Cubs fans had more fun than they did at the Bartman game, I can guarantee you that Beating the Cubs is always fun!
Looking good against the Rockies on 8/1. T-minus 3 days until my big trip with Luca to Busch I told him our plan, and he's going nuts.
That's awesome, something your son will never forget. Have you tried contacting the Cardinals? Maybe the fact it's his first pro game and the distance you're traveling may get you guys some goodies
Nice call on the Freese jersey! If you guys are hitting up batting practice, the left field bleachers are where to go for a ball. Also, take Luca through the Cardinals Authentics store behind the seats in left field, on the family pavilion. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, today is the throwback day to the 1982 WS
So how was it? Was this your first time in the new Stadium Daniel? But most importantly, a GREAT game for Luca to enjoy!
AWESOME, just absolutely perfect for our inaugural visit to "new" Busch. I'll post more tomorrow, once I recover from exhaustion and with some luck, my wallet recovers from the experience.
Double it, and you're getting close. IIRK, airfare was $800, tickets were close to $500, and we blew $500 in the store. Rental car was only $35, because we got something the size of a Tic Tac. On the other hand, seeing the signed 1948 ball that my father has (signed by the whole team when he was a Cub Scout) = priceless. Musial, Nippy, Garagiola, etc. Luca woke up completely hoarse, but still pumped up about the experience. Since we transfer in Cincinnati on our flight home, he thinks we should wear our jerseys to piss off any Red's fans that we might encounter. Smart kid!
Haha! I like the way he thinks! That ball = WOW! Plus you guys got to see the 1982 Cards reunion, well worth the price of admission. Glad you guys enjoyed it!
Sat next to Doug Bair on our flight to CVG. Now, we're stuck here on a 2.5 hour delay for mechanical probs.
My sister, brother-in-law, and their three kids. Damn good seats, eh? Image Unavailable, Please Login
