    Lusso for me all the way as well.


    Watches are an addiction.
    First you like $500 pieces
    Now $1500 pieces look good
    Then $3000 to $5000 start looking good.



    Fast forward 5 years and $20k seems ok





    My suggestion is either love them from afar or get ready for an expensive crazy journey.


    I get the money. Low production coupled with high addiction makes it easy to sell out these pieces. I know I will never own a 600k piece but my next watch will be my most expensive by double as I know only 2 pieces I am really loving right now.

    It will be a year or two I hope before I get one but damn watches just scream at me :(

    Hear you on the potential for watch addiction.

    Right now, I've three very nice automatics, to cover any occasion: a 1990 vintage SS Rolex datejust w/oyster bracelet, a gold 1950s vintage dress Swiss watch inherited from my father in law (can't recall make right off), and a Junkers Pilot purchased from VTChris here on fchat, big dial, stylish and good looking watch for everyday wear.

    Yet, I find myself constantly browsing watches online, thinking that $3K or so for another wouldn't be too a hard a hit. After that it would be $5K, then on and on...

    Lusso for me too. :) such a beautiful car.

    I have a $100 piece. My next one will be $600 but that's far away. I just don't need another.
    I'm more of a car nut but ask me in 6 months to see how into watches I am. I just started getting into them and looking at cool ones so let's see if it lasts.

    I have been traveling for work since the 16th Cleveland, Phoenix, and now in Huntington Beach... I travel down to San Diego on Thursday. Needless to say, I can't wait to get home. BUT if you have to travel for work the Hyatt on PCH in Huntington Beach is not the worst place to be... the Hilton in Cleveland that's another story!

    I have seen more F Cars today in a few hours (New Port Beach) than I did my entire trip in Monaco in May. Coming back to OC always leaves me with some regret for moving...

    Anyway, I am wearing my Panerai 212 today.

    I have seen the wisdom of this post. Watches have become a bit of an addiction for me over the last few years. Consequently, I have decided to sell off the whole collection but for three watches.

    I think that it's a worthwhile exercise although I don't how long I'll be able to stay away...

    That's the Chrono blue right? It looks black whereas the one you wore a couple pages ago had a blue face.
    Two watches or interchangeable faces?
