Nah... I liked our seats. All they did was eat, eat, eat -- the whole game. I mean really, how much prime rib does a kid need?

p.s. still sitting in CVG airport. 3.5 hour delay now.

At 2:30am we made it home.... in a rental car. Delta Airlines (actually all of them), set the bar of expectation extremely low. And then, they perform ever lower.

When our flight was finally deemed "canceled" at 8:00pm, it was past the time of *ANY* possible connecting flights back to Greensboro.

I am sorry for the customer service rep I am about to speak with. It will not be pleasant.

They better cover the airfare and the rental car at least...don't worry about the customer service rep, those people have to have thicker skin than anybody else. I hollered at Southwest one time for bumping me off a flight, wound up with 2 round trip tickets out of the deal.

I'm afraid to blink Scott -- but dare I state the Cards are on a wee bit of a roll !

Now, we just need a bout of food poising or something to hit Cincinnati.

I'm sensing déjà vu - 10.5 back last year later in the season, but it is getting to be crunch time

JFC. I spoke too soon. Lance Lynn is pitching like crap tonight against SFG. He has given up 5 hits and 3 runs and we're still in the ^2. ARRRRG!

The way we've been playing over the past week or two, I wouldn't count us out yet, plus Craig is taking matters into his own hands tonight

Joe Kelly does not belong in the majors. There, I said it.

I'll wager that he doesn't finish the season in St. Louis --- or at least not as a starter.

He needs more time in AAA, he'll be a starter eventually, I think the Cardinals kind of threw him into the deep end and expected Carpenter type results

The whole night was a flippin' nightmare. I turned it off in the 6th. To my horror, I checked the box scores this morning on my phone. I can only hope there was a serious ass-whoopin' in the clubhouse after the game.

I'd call trading Tyler Greene a shot across the bow for the Cardinals

Good riddance. I have other names on my list that ought to go too.

Watching the game now, and I think there is a general feeling of "pissed off" in the house.

OK, I'll fess up: Descalso is the name on my "to go" list. Call me nutz, but I think he simply doesn't have the hustle necessary.
